Worgen are better because they are Alliance.
Worgen will suck because they are Alliance. Go Worgen, go join the vampire Blood Elves and draw all the teenagers with you!
oh and punisher, there will be no new classes.

Since I dont pay attention to stuff, what new classes will there be (if any) and whats the ups and downs of worgens and goblins?
Like Funden said, no new classes will be added.
Worgen Pros:
1. They have a beastial look to them.
2. They can transform from human to worgen/worgen to human.
3. They are a very mysterious people, with lots of unknown lore to be discovered.
4. Decent racials like 1% increased damage at all times and a reduction on all curses and diseases.
5. Genn Greymane if you're an Alliance fan.
Worgen Cons:
1. Twilight fans
2. Lots of noobs will roll them i.e. Blood Elf.
3. They will be ridiculed for the next 3-5 years.
Goblin Pros:
1. Small and crazy.
2. Great racials like a 30 minute bank servant, unique rocket belt, and discounts on everything.
2. Go-kart mounts.
4. They might be getting their own capital city in Azshara.
5. Un-puntable.
6. Not as popular as the Worgen.
Goblin Cons:
1. Will be made fun of because they are so short.
2. Unable to transform into another form unlike they're Worgen counterpart.

why is that considered to be a plus? Human models are still ugly as sin, so simply staying in worgen form would be anyones ideal situation.

I recon so, but like you said, only the kind of morons that rolled a blood elf when tbc came out will be rolling on of them, so no great lose there (to the horde anyway).

There is no up or down; doesn't matter if you roll Worgen or Goblin, the idiots will still be on your server, making stupid Chuck Norris jokes.
As for the class thing; Cataclysm website is your friend, has the full set of new race/class combos, and as the Draenei didn't get any new ones, that means their not broken heh.

I do agree that the human models are hideous but the whole transformation thing is a plus to the players that will be roleplaying on their Worgen.

The problem blizzard made with draenei is they dumped all the 'pure' and 'non corrupt' classes onto the draenei once they came out. Death knights are the exception obviously, but things like warlocks, rogues are considered just to dark for them, and druids just don't seem to fit with draenei.
They should have left out a class with draenei, like say hunters or mages, and introduce them to it now in cata.

I think Blizzard picked a perfect time to introduce the Worgen as a playable class, especially since that stupid New Moon movie came out starring Taylor Lautner as every fangirl's favorite hot werewolf. Take away the Legolas-tards that the Horde got when BC came out and send them over to the Blue side!

I like the way you think. ;) But as for the Draenei, they could actually be druids, as their first contact was with night elves (well, and dwarves and humans if you count Odeyseus' Landing), and that's their closest allies. Plus there's a druid trainer at Valaar's Berth (along with a hunter trainer, but then again, the Draenei learned the ways of the hunter on Azeroth from night elves).
And so that this doesn't go too off-topic... I'm looking forward to both Worgen moreso than Goblins, mainly because I play Alliance, and it'll be nice to have a more "primitive/beasty" race. Plus worgen druid/warlock will be awesome.
