He is right, assuming you know how to handle a succubus.
Dot up one enemy, charm the other. You don't have to spec into succubus for charm to do its work.
This means less pressure on your priest, while forcing the non-charmed enemy to go defensive (even less pressure on your priest), or die ;)

If your affliction, don't forget to glyph it. Common mistake, i even did it myself.
If your destro then find the "succubus variant" spec in the stickies on the warlock forums.

Your partner is wrong. Altho at lower ratings succrubus is a good choice, u'll see that higher up ppl will start realising that its a channeling spell and it can be interrupted (the seduce).
Now we are to chose between the voidwalker and felhunter - each one best in a wide variety of situations. Voidwalker - needles to say - consume shadows + the shield. Now your thinking, k whats up with the felhunter. Well, it has 2 really important abilities for you guys - a. is the spell lock which can be game breaking and b. is the defensive dispell it provides when ur priest is being cced and ur getting bursted.

Well yeah they can interupt that succy, but isnt the whole idea of using her to get some attention of you or your partner? Against a lot of enemies the felhunter isnt going to do much except tickle your opponent.

Felhunter isnt there for damage its there for unlimited dispels both offensive and defensively. The silence really helps too.
