I've been told that I shouldn't use my Felguard on Icehowl because he gets trampled and sets off the enrage...
But the spell specifically says that he enrages when he hits a player... Who are right? Me or them?

Only players who are within a specific range when he hits the wall get "trampled" and enrage him. It's not technically getting run over, and immunities like Divine Shield or Iceblock still get "trampled" (although take no damage) and enrage him.

actually if you run in front of him while he is charging at the wall you will get thrown to the wall and trampled.

Wrong, you can run straight at him and if you can get far enough to the other side of him (think it's 12 yards past the middle of his hitbox) then you won't get trampled.
maybe i wasnt clear, but if you run in front of him and he hits you, you will hit the wall and get trampled.
split some more hairs why dont you
