Eh, I don't know; Deathwing and his ilk rarely went into whole scale destruction of the Earth, they drew there power from it after all.

The Earth Warder and his ilk heh, it's in the name of the Flight. But it is true; beyond the events that caused Crystalsong Forest, the Blacks don't go for wholesale destruction like the Legion, the Elemental Lords and the rest.... but that might be because they want the planet for themselves heh. I don't think Deathwing meant to cause the Cataclysm when he rose up out Deepholme, I think that was just an unexpected side affect... which helped him start his conquering heh.

If her
daughter
hasinherited her mother's beauty.../shudderHence "Mama Scary." (Speculation has it that she'll use the same model.)
A question on my mind is this; who'd rattle
that
?Yeah, I'm gonna have to say Deathwing as well. Or possibly Al'Akir. She's not on good terms with any of the other elemental lords; they're always trying to make trouble.

No doubt, the way they are, the Black Dragonflight would use their Earth manipulation magic for their own gains without thinking much about the consequences and perhaps it caused pain to Therazane.
Heh, in that vein of thinking... She'd hate the High/Blood Elves as they were part of the breed who caused the Sundering, ripping the earth asunder and transforming the massive continent into 3(possibly more) large pieces.

Therazane is the only elemental lord who wasn't a complete 'lol me kill all mortals' type of being. She cares deeply for the balance of earth, and you can imagine how given it is her realm, Deathwing, who was the guardian of her domain, his corruption and how he corrupts what he was meant to guard, would cause her pain.

One question I have though is, Therazane is the mother of earth. As we know the elemental lords are under the old gods beckoning, and deathwing was driven crazy by an old god as the guardian of the earth itself. How then is it she never was, and somehow never became a corrupt being.

Deathwing was driven insane by Three old Gods whispering in his mind. Therazane was one of the servants of the Old Gods and fought in the Elemental War, same as the other three, but she did to for survival as opposed to power lust like the other three. Even her daughter did what she did out of love for the Son of Cenarius who choose her as a mate... it's not her fault the children went insane.

It was probably survival Delt; at the 'beginning' of Azeroth, all there was the 5 Old Ones and the Four Lords and their forces; she probably picked one to serve and just did as it asked, conquering territory for her master till the Ordering, when she got to be sent away to her own plane.... maybe, I don't know, there not really clear on that after all.

Maybe. But we'll only know once we get to understand Therazane's true Nature and the reasoning behind her opposing of Deathwing. Everything we know of the Stone Mother now could be no more in a second.
Heh right.

Therazane is the only elemental lord who wasn't a complete 'lol me kill all mortals' type of being. Al'Akir seems to be less "me kill all mortals" than "bat-guano crazy." He's the wind, and as far as he's concerned, everything's a dry leaf to play with.

Yeah, but seeing as said mortals turned his nephew/lieutenant into a weapon....

You now actully fight Al'Akir in the skywall raid, as well as Ragni again, and Neptulon by looks of it with the model released of him, where asl Therazane is a benign enough being who you side with to battle whatever in deepholme.
Anyway, Thera is the only one of the 4 elemental lords who counts as a Lawful neutral, well the other 3 count as chaotic.
