Scrub tanks are looking for loot while decently geared folks are grinding for those o so beautiful emblems.
That's weird. I was just about to start a thread about how scrub healers are looking for "o so beautiful emblems" while I try to gear up my tank.

Blizzard should have implemented a way to turn gold into experience.
Uh huh. Make gold farmers have even more incentive to go farm gold, and gold buyers have more incentive to buy it.
Unless of course, it's like, 50,000g per level, which, at that point, it's just dumb.

I used to play a game where there was a Merchant Class and they had a spell called "Money is Power" where they could turn money into experience.

People doing heroics for the gear? You have to be kidding me! What the hell are they even thinking, being crappy tanks and ruining my 'smooth run' with their huge ammounts of incoming damage which I have to heal through using more than just a PW:S and Flash Heal? I really hate those fresh 80s and their 1300 DPS and blue gear. Seriously, can't they find a guild that carries them through Naxx25 or something so I don't have to deal with them in my groups?

You think THIS is bad? just wait for cross-realm LFG. Ninjas can hide in the shroud of the unknown... And terrible players you can't just blacklist... And you can't just leave a group if you find that it's a guild that you know is retarded because... you probably won't know the guild.

Not bashing just pointing out that dps is more responsible for the gib than the tank is.
Really? I have always seen it as the tanks responsibility to keep ALL mobs off of ALL players in the group or raid... Maybe I'm just... traditional?

Generally speaking the tank is looking ahead and side to side not so much to the rear, hence the need for the cc dps to watch the healers back.
Please don't tell me you tank? Wipefests aren't fun...
Generally speaking my only tank is my druid and tanking is his offspec (though i seem to be tanking more hc's than dpsing as moonkin these days...) and yet even i know how to keep an eye on everyone to make sure no squishies get hit. It doesn't take a genius to work out how to look for signs that the healer is dying and i have to say that if thats how tanks work on your server then you have my sympathy because to me that is a sign of a bad tank.
Yes if im dpsing and the healer starts taking hits i will root the mob or in extreme cases i will use typhoon but there should be no need for that really. The only time a healer (or dps for that matter) should take damage is if its raidwide i.e. Nexus, Hodir, Sapphiron or if its "randomly targeted" i.e.

etc etc..
