Neutronimonamone and I had fun pub stomping today. I started out as a Pyro with him pocketing, then it morphed into me as a Sniper with him pocketing. We uber charged the point and I crit Bushwacka killed people. >:D

The weapon has the ability to deal damage not only to the enemy being struck, but also to any players healing or being healed by the target with Medic healing beams
or the Amputator taunt.
So you could literally fire axe like eight people at a time?

I don't care for the Third Degree, in all honesty.

Imagine the sound it would make if you did that with a kritz...

So i finally crafted a phlogistanator. omg this thing is awesome x.x i also got a huntsman and i have to say i hated the damn thing at first prefering the machina but it's starting to grow on me lol. I don't feel like it's OP or anything and i get really happy whenever i headshot someone with it like i won the lottery.
Also, i managed to get an amputator...i really like it except for the gigantic bullseye it paints on my back for spies. I've been using it whenever i play medic and it seems like if i don't specifically face my back in a direction that's less likely to get stabbed....sure enough i press taunt and a spy magically appears behind me.

I just keep getting better and better at Demo, especially now that I'm practicing with the Pipes more. :D Unfortunately, I've also become worse at Scoot. :( I just can't get it right anymore ;_;
That being said... Come at me, Pyros!

Bought a Strange Axtinguisher/Reserve Shooter/Degreaser. So fun :x Head shot a sniper with his own reflected arrow a few days ago.
Here's a fun question, what weapons does everyone think are annoying and OP? I'll start!
Enforcer's a little OP with the DR, just because of the oversight in making the drawback a non-issue with that watch. It's a perfectly fine trade off with other watches, but I can't think of any other weapon in the game that says 'another 20% damage on your primary weapon with no downside? Why not!'
I have a minor problem with mini-sentries: Not the damage, reduced cost, revenge crits, build speed, range, anything like that. No, it's the fact that there's no penalty for just making
this face
every time someone destroys it, and immediately rebuilding. It makes killing them an exercise in futility, because the cost to the Engi to just immediately rebuild it is negligible. What I'd like to see is mini sentries getting a very brief CD (four or five seconds) if destroyed while being built or for a few seconds after. Just so there's actually some drawback besides a very minor metal cost to mindlessly spamming a mini sentry until your team carries it for long enough that it can stay up.

Combat spy ftw >.>
Also, I disagree on the minisentry thing. That's the whole purpose of them, is to be able to build them quick and pump them out. That's why they do reduced damage and can't be repaired.
Continuing, I think the Phlog and Backburner are both OP, and the Machina is a straight upgrade to the original sniper rifle.

Machina's not a straight upgrade. The tracer rounds and lack of no scoping hurt. Pyros who can't freely airblast aren't very useful pyros, either. Good soldiers will juggle you until the cows come home.

Here's a fun question, what weapons does everyone think are annoying and OP? I'll start!
Ho, boy! Incoming nerd raeg:
Most of the weapons I'm listing are more annoying than OP and for a few personal reasons.
First off, the DR + Enforcer. One of the most common crutch weapon combinations. Yes, whether you believe it or not, those two are a crutch. There is no "combat spy" nor should there be a "combat medic." (The latter is just a waste of a server slot, I shouldn't have to explain more.) They just spam their six shots at a person hoping for a random crit to finish them before they notice. And if they do notice, it's no problem to pull out their DR and run away from the fight. Rinse and repeat.
On top of that, most people use the DR as a "second-chance spy" more than a feigned death. The problem I have most with the DR is that there is no blink and the damage resistance buff is still there after the death effect triggers. I know I got a pipe on you and you're not really dead but tracking you is hard so I have to wait for you to poke your head out later down the road.
Phlog/Backburner. I'm less annoyed with the Backburner now that the Phlog has been introduced. At least with the BB, there's a chance a Pyro could accidentally learn how to backblast but there is zero chance or incentive to do that with the Phlog. Plus, I know it's not true but sometimes it feels like the Phlog has just a little more reach than the other flamethrowers but that's particle lag.
I'm actually okay with the BB, just the sound of crits on my butt irk me. But only a little.
Liberty Launcher/Black Box/Cowmangler. Cowmangler not so much, I just hate that it does more damage than it appears it should(aesthetically.) Though, the Liberty Launcher is kind of a crutch, in my opinion. Combining the damage of the default with the speed of the Direct Hit just makes me go :E! In time, you come to rely on a fast and far hit where your rocket suffers from damage falloff. In terms of the Black Box, almost any self-heal mechanic disrupts the game for me aside from Mad Milk because it puts me on a level where I just barely beat or lose to it. That's just something I have to get better at, though.
Mostly, it's the penalties that the two bring that annoy me because it forces you to forego a mechanic that is extremely useful for Soldier: Rocket jumping. One less rocket means a lot though they don't realize it. If you were to try rocket jumping into a fight with either of those weapons, you'd find yourself against a fully armed enemy with your two rockets. Unless you've got some good aim with your shotgun, your chances are surviving are reduced. But most carry some kind of Banner or
Gun Boats/Mantreads
.
Another thing those soldiers fail to take into account is that 1 less rocket can hurt an uber-push. It's a weak push. We're trying to take down a sentry, please make your rockets count! (Healing makes the Black Box redundant too. It's okay to switch.) >.<
And lastly, Demoknights. ಠ_ಠ Yes, it's fun but we can't bring down a sentry because you rely too much on your melee for gimmick kills and you can't aim worth a damn with your pipes. It wouldn't seem so bad but bringing down sentries is what you're made for! >.< If you can't tell, Demoknights annoy me the most.
I take this game too seriously. T.T

I find the Black Box is for very specific situations. If there's an easy way for the enemy to attack, but a) we can't get that way because of a one-way drop, and b) there are a lot of windy corners for them to navigate, the Black Box is
amazing
. I'm out on my own, and I know it, so I have some self-heal. I don't really need four rockets because it's never super-duper important that I finish someone off right where I am. Just back up around one corner, reload, pummel them when they come back out. The attic on the second point of the first stage of Goldrush is a prime example. Jump up there, reload, go out, fire down the stairs, back off, reload, repeat.

Right. But that's what I don't like about it. It's situational. Offensively, it's weak. Defensively, it's nice as hell and helps with survivability. Basically, what I'm saying is that it annoys me when I'm on offense going against it and when someone on my team uses it (offense), I die a little :(
And 1v1, I hate it D:

Tracer rounds hurt? If you can't spot a sniper immediately, you need more practice.

*shrug*
I mainly prefer it to get behind enemy lines unseen, then be able to cause some havoc.

Not exactly. A good sniper isn't hanging on a ledge or out the window and you can't always rely on the telltale sniping dot as good snipers are scoped-out more often than in.

But you can already do that with the other watches and more effectively. With the CnD, you can stay cloaked no problem but at the cost of mobility. And with practice/default watch, you can cloak for a long amount of time if you use the ammo boxes wisely not to mention you have more mobility.
But I'm not talking directly to you, you know that you can disguise as a teammate and trick the enemy into thinking you're not a spy. That's an uncommonly used neat trick although it only works so many times. :(
I'm talking about people taking potshots and DRing most of the game. They're not being effective with their class and spend most of the game running away from failed kills rather than taking down nests or killing high priority targets with a higher frequency.
