I don't like Twitter or Instagram, I'm too old to get the hang of social media really, forums are more my type of thing.
I can't believe I forgot this. Yes, Facebook and Tweeter are INCREDIBLY POPULAR websites, but I just don't see the point in social networks. All my online interactions with other human beings is either via forums, online games, or more rarely, emails.

Oh, left something out: 3D effects.

While I enjoy Doctor Who, I'm not as wowed by it as most people seem to be. I don't like The Walking Dead TV show, because it's vastly inferior to the source material. I also thought the movie Black Swan was completely overrated.
Also Twinkies. I always found them repulsive.
Also, Game of Thrones, though that's mostly 'cause of the fanbase. The vast majority have never read the books and then sit there and speculate about what will happen next. Hmm, I wonder...
The people who read the books speculate just as much.
Oh, left something out: 3D effects.
THIS x100000000000000000000000000000!
I hate 3D movies. They've become such an annoying gimmick in the past few years. So many movies blatantly cater to the 3D effect by spending half the film poiting swords at the audience or having things fly out. And God forbid it's a third film in the series and they add the letter "D" to the end of the title.

I dislike rave, techno, trance music most of the time.
Aww, for shame. Trance has some really interesting stuff going for it.
The people who read the books speculate just as much.
I'm talking about the people who speculate on what's going to happen when the book has already set it down.
Oh and Funden, that's a really lame reason to dislike something. Not everyone is going to want to read the books, besides, they change a lot on the show so even us bookreaders wonder what's going to happen next.
I don't care? GoT has become this huge memefest thing everywhere and it's bugging the crap out of me. It's a combination of a lot of things, tbh, but it's mostly fan hate. I'm sure the show itself isn't that bad.

At least the fandom's not as annoying as sherlock or doctor who's, yet. Those two shows can go on my hate list, for a start. They're annoying and also I'm never getting over the gross racism/sexism in both fandoms, but especially demonstrated in sherlock's case when Lucy Liu was cast in Elementary.
For games, Call of Duty/Fifa are the main ones, and I think the main reason for that is because people who scream and cry if they lose a game are amongst the first to criticise more "nerdy" gamers, such as people who prefer RPGs (most wow players have probably experienced that to a varying extent, lol).
Lady Gaga really pisses me off even though I like some of her music and I don't know exactly why but she just does, and one direction are awful so pls.
+1 for 3d gimicks.
I'm forgetting a lot of things but if I said
everything
I'd be here all day.

I forgot this one. Don't know why that show became a cult as there are other popular kids shows' that are watched by adults, except they aren't filled with autistic neckbeards (and I don't mean that as a joke, the amount of neckbeards and autistic people watching is tremendous..)

I'll re-iterate the 3D comment. The only movie I've seen in 3D to date that I thought looked better for it (and I'm still impressed with to this day) is Avatar. 3D should be about adding depth to the scene, making things feel farther away from you. This whole gimmick of having &*!@ come out of the screen
at
you 1) hurts the eyes, and 2) is so over done already that it's just boring and a waste of an extra $5.

it was actually well done in Dredd as well (The newer movie not the corny 1995 one). Dredd is one of those few movies that knows how to properly use slow-mo and 3d were it counts, and not overabuse either of those.

#369: What drives you?
What is your personal motivation to carry on, to try and do better, to improve yourself, or simply to go on living?

That's some deep #$%^ for this thread, Rankkor.
And the right answer for everyone is 'sex'.

To be myself one day. I feel that there are some people and some things that hold me back from living my life the way I want to, the way I have to act, the people I need to keep relations with. In a few years that dream should come true, and I absolutely cannot wait for it.

Grades don't matter anywhere outside of a classroom.
