Frozen orbs going for under 15G on Horde Jubei'Thos.
Most expensive? Adamantite ore when I was levelling my JCing, cheapest I could find was 380G a stack.

runecloth 20g a stack. not too bad but I bought 20 stacks of it two weeks before at 1.5g a stack thinking it was cheap.

Old World gear in general. Green Lv15 gloves that cost 15G? I don't think so.

Honestly, I hate people who undercut. All it does it make the price for that particular item go lower and lower with each new addition. There's a lot of people on my realm, (mannoroth) that undercut the prices with Herbalism, Mining, Skinning, JC, Enchanting, and Alchemy, (yeah, I have all of those at 450 on different toons). It's stupid, say you have an Herbalist, why would you undercut your own product? Why not just put it in for the same amount as the next guy and you both know it'll eventually get bought. It's setting yourself up for low gold income, you get a stack of Ice Thorn, you go to the AH, notice someone has it in for 25G, instead of putting it in for the same, you drop it 1 Gold in hopes of it getting more attention, which it will at first, but then the next guy is going to do the same thing. Pretty soon you get another stack of Ice Thorn the next day and when you go to put it into the AH, you notice that it is in there for 12G a stack, because YOU created a domino effect by a 1G undercut. I mean, sheesh! haha.
Anyhow, the changes to 3.2 really changed how I made money. I used to make money by the mats you get from DEing, but that's no longer a very good way of making money, seeing as how everyone farms heroics and Abyss Crystals and Frozen orbs are now 15G on my servers AH at times.
Epic gems came out, so selling blue gems and uncut blue gems are is no longer an option.
Although I can't complain. I currently have like, 9 new epic cuts and I can easily make bank on them in the AH, costs me 100G to make and then I can sell them for 200G :D
That's the thing about WoWs economy and real life's economy, it's always changing. You could put something in the AH and literally click the X and it's already been undercut, which will cause the future of that item to slump in AH prices, it sucks, but whatever, learn to flow with the change, I guess? heh

Wool Cloth on Stormreaver.
I don't know the price by memory but I'll check it when I'm in a capital.
Wool cloth was about 18g per stack on Stormreaver. At least, a couple of hours ago.

LOL... undercutting?.. how about the AH is a true free market? Supply and Demand, brother...
If undercutting bothers you so much, buy the lower priced mats and relist at the price you "think" it should go for....
I always undercut the lowest price by about 2%... I want the gold now and don't want to relist the item...
Ever heard of Walmart?...
They go for quantity of sales and undercut the heck out of the smaller stores...

Two things:
About auctioneer: Don't forget it takes the average of sold prices, meaning it shows the wrong price. Five people sell Light Leather at 1g per stack, some clueless guy sells it at 20s, and the average gets screwed with, because the guy trying to sell for 1g80s doesn't sell. Look at what the current price is. If it's too low, wait. If it's above average, sell a few of your wares.
Also, no sense in undercutting BO price when you can undercut initial bid instead.
Second thing: Can someone explain to me what all those copper bars get used for? I get that you buy stuff and level two crafting proffs for a main character... But that's a one-time event, isn't it? Herbs for glyphs (good going blizz, that was marvelous) I get, and even leather has some regulation, since you can upgrade leather. But what's with the ores and bars?
Maybe it's because I'm on low pop realm, where plenty of new people come in and level BS/JC/Eng?
Hmm, when I put it like that, it does seem to make a bit of sense. Still, any thoughts?

If somone is selling leather at 20s a stack, but it out and resell for 2g (oir whatever real price is) - I do it all the time for several reasons:
1) If it is a popular item (like leather of cloth) I know it will eventually resell
2) It helps bring the economy back up
3) I make more money and didn't have to waste no more time than walking to the mailbox.
As for undercutting, I don't really care, especially if it is really far undercut (than I do like above). Hell, if I have BoE greens while farming, I sell them for (depending on iLevel) 1g to 10g, unless they are items I know are twinking, or close... or a popular item for "X" class... I know people disenchant stuff to level, so why not make a few gold off them? My 39 druid (just started her) has made almost 1k of gold by farming leather, herbs and selling/reselling items on AH. I will even buy out LOW priced Greens to resell. You just need to be smart about it and think, "will this help me and the economy?" If answer is yes, it is more than likely a good thing.

Frozen Orbs on my server are in flux right now.
Back when I got my first lvl 80, they were about 120g - 150g each. A few weeks ago they were 50g - 75g each. This week they're 10g - 30g each. I recently bought out every single one for less than 40g, and posted them at 40g. Cost about 700g, but when they sell I'll be making that in profit.
I've noticed Titansteel goes up and down a lot on my server. Used to be steady 120g. Dropped to 50g, now to back to 120g.
Undercutting really kills the economy, but with so many people using the Auctioneer addon, they don't really even think about it. Just click a button and think "Yay time to wait for gold!". I use it to search, but if I think it undercuts too much I post the old fashioned way.
