It took well over a week to get my account back. Just give it some time. Go out and do something. I kind of enjoyed the wait time myself as it felt lilke i was on a WoW vacation.

On the 27 / 5 / 2010 my account got hacked. I emailed blizzard that day and they replied with their 'We will fix your account / customer support is top priority etc...' after 6 days of no reply (except for me to do a survey) I emailed them again saying the same thing and this is the second time I have had to email. I get an email back saying your email has been forwarded to character specialization and we will try to restore / customer support etc...' and I got another email asking me to do a survey.
Still to this day I have had no reply from blizzard saying whats going on and I am so ^&*!ed off...
Has this happened to anyone else?
What should I do?
It takes a little while for a character specialist to get back to you (because of the high volume of compromised accounts). Keep your eye on your email. Also, feel free to call using the aforementioned numbers as they can tell you if your request is in the queue.

There is an EXTREMELY high amount of bogged down work going into customer support right now, I have had a ticket open for 3 days now just trying to get my frost emblems back after accidentally having them downgraded to triumph.

Blizzard doesn't blame the users; Blizzard blames the account thieves. We can't all know what the hell we're doing on the Internet...
