hey people, i have been holy for a while and have prot as duelspec, but what Glyphs should i use?
people who know, plz tell and maybe send a good talenttree...
and now we are here at it, what is the need to tank HC, raids and HC raids... and ulduar now we are here...

DP, Judgment and SoV.
Of course, the DP glyph is useless if you forget to keep it up -- just pop it right before you go into a pull (right before you throw your shield, I'd say).
Indeed, my pulling macro is like this:
#showtooltip Avenger's Shield
/cast Arcane Torrent
/cast Divine Plea
/cast Avenger's Shield
EDIT: To clarify, you do need to push the button twice, once to get the mana return going, then a second time for the shield.

The glyphs i use are DP, SoV and righteous defence (the taunt one), as for requirments don't go into a heroic without at least 335 defence.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to heal a tank with 335 defense, yikes. I'd be much more comfortable with 535 ;)

Rigtheous defence is... a must, I'd say. Judgement is really a terrible glyph, considering you can have Seal of Vengance, and Divine Plea glyph.

1. We have 3 major glyph slots. SoV, DP and J glyph are not exclusive.
2. RD glyph is for people that forgot we have two taunts.

I'm actually using Hand of salvation glyph, dunno if it is good i need to test it but 10 sec of 20% les dmg could be nice
Plus we generate tons of threat. IF you watch omen and it says that you have 500% more threat than any member in group, cast salvation.
It is also very good tool for off tanking.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Hammer of the Righteous. I plugged that one in the other day and have found myself picking up more than a few mobs at a time since, just because I have the extra hit on the hammer, and letting someone less-suited for AOE tanking take the single targets. It's been pretty invaluable, since when you have 6-7 mobs on you it can be difficult to tell which ones your moves hit, and tabbing to judge one and exorcise another isn't as easy as it sounds.
Edit: my bad, someone did mention hammer, briefly. ;)

but like i said my job is OT if i was the MT i would change the glyhps for the MT job.

Honesty I can't remember exaclty what glyphs I use. I do know that I do not use the righteous defense glyph and the seal of vengeance glyph.
First, I have 19 expertise from gear, not including the 3 expertise from a racial because I am human using an axe. So if I use that glyph it will put me over the expertise cap, which isn't a real important stat anyway.
Second, I have about 6% hit so the need for an 8% chance to hit on RD isn't needed. Also, I rarely, very rarely, use that taunt.
I do use glyph of judgement and glyph of divine plea but I can't remember my 3rd glyph. It might be glyph of exorcism. I am thinking about getting the glyph of hand of salvation. A lot of people are saying it isn't worth it because you sacrifice 20% of your threat to reduce damage by 20%. Well that isn't true. You don't need to keep salv up the whole time. If your fighting a boss where you do need to use those cooldowns, you can pop salv on yourself 1 or 2 seconds before you get hit. Like popping it 1 or 2 seconds before fusion punch on the iron council encounter. Then after the debuff gets cleansed/dispelled, click hand of salv off. So really it only needs to be up for 3-4 seconds and you only lose a small portion of your threat.

Expertise cap is not 6.5% when striking from the front it's 15% (60 expertise).
If you can use the HotR glyph you should consider smacking your DPS across the face and tell them to shape the f up.
If they aint riding your ass in Ulduar there is something really wrong.
Depending on the content you're doing glyphs can be personal preference.
But when you get to the point where your DPS knows what they're doing and are geared to do it there are gonna be some mandatory glyphs.
