[SOLVED] Focus resetting workaround?

I know I came up with a solution for this a while ago, but I can't seem to find it again... The problem is that the focus unitid gets reset occasionally (usually due to zoning/target d/c issues.). I'm looking for an addon that works via macro insertion to replace parts of a macro text with a player name so that my tricks macro stops breaking.
ie.
#showtooltip
/cast Tricks of the Trade
Where <some special text> is parsed by an addon and replaced with a player name stored via another command (exactly how focus should work, but without the zoning issues).
I know, for a fact, that the addon exists... I just can't for the life of me remember the name of the addon that did it >_<

There's the one that the UI&M reader wrote to replace a string in macros for that purpose. It should be in a post in here somewhere.
Also, WTF is @none supposed to do? target=none ... none isn't a UnitId is it?
EDIT
: I had a look through a few searches and I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. I know it was a macro that someone made and posted about here, ages ago. It would take some kind of setting and replace some indicator in macros with whatever unit was assigned to that setting.

none is a
valid unitid
. It's ALWAYS set to nil. The @none forces the targeting cursor even if I have a valid target selected for the spell.
And in response to the edit... Ya, that was me... Trying to fix this the first time around :P Someone came back with an addon that would do target replacements in macros >_<

Wow, WTF. I thought I knew a bit about macros.
EDIT
: God, there is no way to use the search to find this, and while I know I replied to it, it's far more than 250 replies ago so I can't look in my replies list. I recall the person who made it being someone who had posted before, but I can't recall his name. This is maddening.

You're telling me :P
edit:
FOUND IT!
edit2:
For the curious, TotT macro now looks like this:
#showtooltip
/cast Tricks of the Trade
and my '/focus' macro now looks like this:
/mtarget setbyname tricks
/mtarget write

Jesus ... can we get that added to a sticky?
EDIT
: Maybe RE can put it in his common asked thread?
