For all the resident Khajit fans.
That was seriously impressive. There are a lot of well written songs for many games, but it's far rarer for the people making them to be able to sing well (the people in here who also frequent the LoL thread should've seen a few for which the latter is sadly not the case), let alone make a plausible impression of something as difficult as a Khajiit voice.
Missing voice files meaning you can't marry Khajiit characters in Skyrim is still one of my pet peeves with the game, especially since no one but Bethesda really have the capability to add them seamlessly.
Moonpath to Elsweyr is an amazing mod in many ways, f.e., but their voice acting was fairly atrocious last time I played through it. Bad voices and worse recording equipment made every custom conversation really jarring, especially since they kept the default game voices for idle chat.

Well its because Miracle of Sound is a professional group. They do mostly songs about videogames, and not only are they good singers, their lyrics are quite well written. They don't settle with just covers, they actually make their own songs.
My favorite from them is Commander Sheppard (Obviously about Mass Effect's protagonist) and there's also Age of the Dragon (About the protagonist of Dragon Age 2)
They're a great group that's severely underrated.

Its confirmed folks, the next DLC is called Dragonborn, and will allow players to craft new armor, travel to Solstheim, and fly dragons.
As usual however, its gonna be available on December 4 for Crap-box users, and god-only knows when for PC and PS3 users.
Nada nuevo debajo del Sol.
-_-
Official Trailer
The last line at the end of the trailer is pretty epic:
"You did not think that you were the only one.... He was the first..... DRAGONBORN!
In the words of the wise Marcus Burnett: S*** just got real.
It is one guy. He does everything by himself, except drums (I think). My personal favorites are New Black Gold, Commander Shepard and Borderlands and Dishonored songs.
Whoa, I thought it was a group. If it really is just 1 guy, then my (already huge) respect for him just increased tenfold. That guy is a genius.

I don't hate you, but I REEEEHEHEHEHEHEEEEALLLYY hate your console and its god-damned monopoly on everything game-related.
Every game, every DLC, every fix, everything of everything has to be released on Xbox first, and then to the rest of the plebe. Since when did the Xbox became the goldenboy of gaming?
It makes me happy that at least Elder Scrolls Online is NEVER gonna see a console release (I can dream), so at least that's one little battle we can win.

Pretty much because its the one area where it doesnt get outclassed by the PS3 or PC. PC gets mods out the demon hole, and PS3 has better graphics. Microsoft pays a ton of money for the privilege of getting first crack at the DLC.
Honestly though the version you get will probably be more ironed out and less buggy since they take the extra 30 days and get feedback from the 360 users.

Like I said, nothing personal against you, I Just hate the monopoly that the Xbox has on games, that everything of everything has to be released for them first, and then the rest of the world. Had to endure it with Jade Empire, Mass Effect 1, every DLC for this game, every Assassin's Creed game, and a list too long to enumerate.
The last line at the end of the trailer is pretty epic:
"You did not think that you were the only one.... He was the first..... DRAGONBORN!

there can only be one?
Gonna put this in a spoiler tag just in case, but I wanna clarify that NO SPOILERS FOR THE NEW DLC ARE INSIDE OF IT, just some background lore about the Elder Scrolls universe for Sold who's sorta new to it.
Actually no, there doesn't have to be just one dragonborn. There can be many and in fact previously there were many.
A dragonborn is a mortal with the soul of a dragon, and the blood of a dragon on their veins. Their origins are shrouded in mystery, as nobody truly knows when they began existing, only that St Alessia was the earliest recorded one in history, where she received Draconic blood in exchange for sealing the Gates to Oblivion.
It was the Dragonborn that allowed humanity (and the rest of the mortal races) to win the war against the dragons well over 3000 years ago, and the entire Septim Dynasty, including Tiber Septim, founder of the Cyrodill Empire, were all dragonborn.
However, by the time of skyrim, most of the dragonborn have been systematically killed. The Aldmeri Dominion doesn't take too kindly to humans and non-dominion mer going around with the potential to become ultra-powerful in the blink of an eye (a dragonborn slaying a dragon will absorb that dragon's soul, knowledge, and power, so they can ramp up pretty quickly in terms of power in a relatively short span). And so, most of the dragonborn have faded into obscurity and nobody really knows how many (if any) are out there.
The protagonist of Skyrim is believed to be the last of the dragonborn, as hinted by an old prophecy written on
this book
but as the DLC tells us, there is apparently another, and the FIRST one no less.
here is a loose interpretation of the prophecy:
When misrule takes its place at the eight corners of the world
(this part refers to Elder Scrolls I: Arena. Misrule refers to the Imperial Simulacrum, which is when the emperor was locked away in oblivion while his advisor took his appearance and ruled in his stead.)
When the Brass Tower walks and Time is reshaped
(this part refers to Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. The Brass Tower, was a gigantic Dwarven construct, that nearly destroyed the world, and the "Time is reshaped" Refers to an event that happens in that game, known as the Warp in the West. That game had LOTS of different endings, and somehow, all of them happened at once, creating splinter alternate realities for each ending.)
When the thrice-blessed fail and the Red Tower trembles
(This one refers to the third game Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The Thrice-blessed are the Tribunal, which by the time of skyrim are dead, and the Red Tower is the Red Mountain, a huuuuge ass volcano on Morrowind that by the time of skyrim has erupted and destroyed most of that nation.)
When the Dragonborn Ruler loses his throne, and the White Tower falls
(This part refers to the fourth game Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, there was a Dragonborn Emperor there, that died, and all his heirs died with him, leaving the throne empty, the White Tower is the center of the empire, a huge tower on the Imperial City, and this tower fell during the war with the Aldmeri Dominion)
When the Snow Tower lies sundered, kingless, bleeding
(This part is on skyrim, the Snow Tower is the Throat of the World, and "Sundered Kingless Bleeding" is due to the civil war on skyrim)
The World-Eater wakes, and the Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn
. (The world eater is Alduin, the main villain of Skyrim, and the Last Dragonborn is you.)
Lorewise this prophecy was written centuries ago, and yet, all of the events described in it, have already happened, every single one of them, so the prophecy must be correct in saying you truly are the last of the dragonborn.
They better make that boss an encounter worthy of being remembered. Sadly, skyrim doesn't have much in the way of memorable bosses (must have something to do with overforging and overchantnig your gear xD)

It makes me happy that at least Elder Scrolls Online is NEVER gonna see a console release (I can dream), so at least that's one little battle we can win.
It's not the Xbox, it's whoever pays (the most) for it. Getting a bit offtopic here but as an example, EVE Online has a sister game in beta right now, a shooter called DUST 514, which is PS3 exclusive. This game will actually be hooked into EVE (a PC game, there will be some interaction between the two) when it goes live and there's a huge amount of people who'd want to play it on a PC - but it's PS3 only because Sony paid for it to be.
Don't follow consoles at all since I don't have one, but I'm sure you can find plenty examples of both sides of that particular coin. If Microsoft pays for more games than Sony does, I'd honestly not find that very surprising considering their somewhat poor reputation among gamers.
Excellent writeup covering the prophecy, rankkorr.

BTW, regarding the main villain of the upcoming DLC, here's something to ponder on:
So, let's review: a being with powers identical to your own, eons old, comes back from the dead with the sole intent of devouring as many dragon souls as possible. And you just happen to be stuffed to bursting with plenty of sweet, delicious dragon souls.
ohh crap......

You Say "Professional group" like it's more than one person. It's all Gavin, with the occasional teamup with another artists (see Legends of the Frost).

lol, you missed my second quote :P
I didn't knew it was just one guy, which makes what he does all the more impressive. Not only due to the quality of his singing, but also because his lyrics are really catchy, and most of them even rhyme. Dare you to hear 10 of his songs in a row and not end up humming at least 2 of them for the next 5 days.
"fight for your values, and fight for your friends, fight through this blight, find the light at the end. Through the Age of the Dragon the people will talk of the day they were saved by a hero......... NAMED HAWKE!"
I swear I couldn't get that damned tune out of my head for almost a full month.
