Plus I still think its sorta mean that they allow you to adopt children, yet all the children in the game are human. Nords specifically. There are some breton (Babette) Imperial (Aventus) and even Redguard children, but they're VERY few. And absolutely zero orc/kahjit/elven children anywhere.
Maybe this DLC they will let you. But I also kind of get it why there wouldnt be many non human children in Skyrim atm given the state of the world.

That there are "few" non-human children would be acceptable. That there are NONE is a little harder to swallow. How come none of the orc fortresses have even one child? that's just not right.

Noone ever said that every DLC pack is obligatory, anyway. This really looks like one of those that you can pass on if you don't fancy children and building housies. There doesn't seem to be that much content in it. Like, no super quest, no awesome loots, no new creatures, and stuff.
I wish the scale of the mod was bigger, but it only seems to be focused on a single household. It also looks like you will be fairly limited about how the household will look like... no giant towers for example. Sigh. I only lived in towers in Morrowind. My good old Archmage Tower and Tel Uvirith.

Actually Bethesda did. They said they werent going to be pulling the same bull!@#$ they did with the Fallout games and Oblivion (%^&*ing horse armor? Seriously?). And that the DLC packs for Skyrim would be substancial, but with long waits in between.

Orcs are too manly to be kids. Born as adults straight away.
Auch. Suddenly I'm so glad I'm not an orc female. That probably must hurt.

Umm might not be a purfect place for this but it fits well enough, I now have oblivion what are some must dos?
what's a dos?
If you mean addons, my personal reccomendation is 2.
OOO (stands for Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) which is a massive (and I mean MASSIVE in every sense of the word) recopilation of addons in a single installer. Pop that thing in there, and you have new armors, female guards, revamped economy, more monster types, more sidequests, new dungeons, more advanced AI, ect ect.
Second one is
Nehrim.
This one isn't as much an addon as it is a total conversion mod. In case you're not familiar with the term, its a brand new game, used with the engine of another one. This is FREE, and its amazing. Its in german though, but with fully translated english subtitles. Everything except the voices are in english (and the german actors are quite good IMO). The game is simply mind-blowing. with a plot that is fantastic, an ending that is truly climmatic, and a world that is simply stunning.
Bear in mind that Nehrim is more or less a brand new game of its own, it still requires oblivion installed to play it, but it has almost nothing to do with the elder scrolls franchise.

ahh, well don't miss the thieves guild and dark brotherhood quests. They were awesome. Actually the main campaign was sorta weak. Don't get me wrong, its not like it was lame, or boring, its just nowhere near as awesome as the secondary campaigns are. You're not even the protagonist, Martin is, and he sits in a monastery for 90% of the campaign (only to steal the spotlight during the last 2 missions :S)
Shivering Isles is a must-have too, because you get to BE a Daedra Lord =D

Dammit Bethesda, what is with them getting all these big name actors then having them drop off the face of the earth or just sit there doing nothing for most of them game.
They did it with Sean Bean and Patrick Stewart in Oblivion. Hell they did it with freaking Liam Neeson in Fallout 3.

the worst part is the bit with patrick stewart. They hired frikking CAPTAIN PICARD and he has only like 10 lines of dialog on the whole game, and dies within the first 30 minutes. That's just 5 kinds of wrong.
Not to mention that hiring such high-profile actors probably is what ate the entire budget on actors, which led to oblivion having 10 people voicing over 1000 NPCs. (Without even bothering to change the voice)

has anyone run into world npc's who actually managed to kill a dragon? i was traveling around and randomly saw a dragon skeleton that i for sure didnt kill.
also for some reason the dragon bones in the mage college are refusing to despawn. its getting very ridiculous, theres more bones than ground.

Shouldnt be possible. You could run across a dragon corpse, but it wouldnt be a skeleton unless you were close by to absorb its soul.

You do not understand what "mandatory" means or your logic is flawed. The fact that something is substantial desn't also mean that you must have it, if you care about the typical action adventuring nature of Skyrim. This DLC is also clearly nowhere near to a "long wait" from the last one.
Btw rankkorr the way you spoil everything is so freakishly annoying.

spoil what? o_O anything I said about the emperor happens within the first 10 minutes of gameplay. And as for martin I don't think I spoiled anything major other than he spends most of the campaign in a monastery.
