My guy is becoming a bit of a glass cannon focusing on heavy stealth and archery. I can sneak through dungeons 1 shotting everything with arrows, but it makes goingt oe to toe witha dragon tough. The most annoying are trolls caus of the regen, kinda negates the big chunk I take out the their health with the sneak attack.

What do you buff when you level up? I always buff health, and got 2 perks in light armor and am wearing a set of Elven, and I am doing fairly fine.
And the dragon I fought was Ice heh, kept slowing me as hell with his breath. But otherwise I loved the entire thing with running through a fairly large area at super high speeds hunting a dragon that lands at various places. I really wish I had more shouts <3 I absolutely love the way my Bosmer girl yells them.

So are enemies not scaled to your level anymore?
I didn't notice this. Enemies are not being replaced by stronger types or anything, I still see weak enemies in areas where I was at a low level. I also commonly meet monsters that completely obliterate me in places where I am not supposed to go yet. As I level up I am really gaining power to overcome enemies in areas that I would die in instantly before, and there is no such nonsense as default Bandits attacking me with high class weaponry, they still have their common junk weapons (and now they die in two hits).
Two recommendations to all Skyrimers: Solitude is the most amazing place ever and you should totally visit it, and I would not recommend delaying the training with Greybeards heh. The utility one gets from it is pretty sweet.

Idk about open worlds. But as far as dungeons are concerned the first time you enter a dungeon all the enemies in there are scaled to your level and they lock at that level forever. So if you step into a dungeon at level 1 then immediatly leave, when you go back there at level 20 there will still be low level enemies.

Damn, that is really interesting! Thanks rankkorr.
One more question though, apparently I need steam for the pc version, my friend has steam for his Call of Duty and it always gives him issues. He says it's because we live in a 3rd world country, you have any experience with steam?
none =/ I live in a third world country too, (one of the worst ones in america) its so bad I can't even get the game legally, so the only way to play it is via piracy, since war-related videogames are illegal here, so I'm downloading it via utorrent, gonna have to wait at least 1 week before its done.
out of curiosity where are you from? (I'm from venezuela)

It wasn't that they got replaced. In Oblivion, stuff scaled to your level. So a rat at level 1 was
easier
than a rat at level 20.
It was dumb. It made it easier to close Oblivion gates, etc., by purposefully not leveling up, if you could avoid resting. Since the whole game 'leveled' faster than you did, but it was still tied to how fast you leveled.

:P I said this a few pages ago.
It was particulary glaring because friendly NPCs never scaled, including guards, so doing the quest "Defense of Bruma" at lvl 1, with all guards recruited, was a piece of cake, but doing that same quest at lvl 40, and 2 daedra could wipe the floor with 14 guards effortlessly.
A mod called OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) fixed that, by making enemies have a stable fixed level, so certain areas of the game were suited for low lvl players, and others for higher level ones, it also made the guards considerably stronger, and scaled the daedra to the length of the main campaign (READ: if you are in the earliest stages of the main quest, you face lowbie daedra, if you are in the latter stages of the main quest you face stronger daedra and thus you gotta level to keep up)
This is why I love PC gaming over console gaming. Console players had to settle with the crappy level-scaling issue on oblivion and suck it up, PC players had alternatives to that crap.

No pezz, they DID get replaced. "Skeletons" got replaced by "Warrior Skeletons" and those by "Overlord Skeletons" and "Wolves" got replaced by "Snow Wolves" and such crap. You had a spawn point that had a certain range of various enemies that could spawn at it, and as you entered the cell, the spawns got determined. Only human (and other humanoid races) enemies levelled dynamically, other things like the undead and atronachs were always in their respective level range. There is nothing like this in Skyrim as far as I can tell, at lvl 22.
edit: Also I added some screenshots into my earlier post here.

I mainly prefer PC games because I can usually turn around faster. I
've never seen a game on a console where I can adjust the sensitivity of the control stick(s)
, but I can almost always adjust mouse sensitivity. Turning on a PC is almost instantaneous, where on a console it's just irritating.
what.

On the topic of lore anybody ever wonder what happened to the hero of Morrowind? The Daggerfall and Arena champions are obviously dead by now, and the Champion of Cyrodill became the new Sheogorath, so what ever happened to the Neraverine? The only clue you get in Oblivion is that he went to Akavir and thats it. It was around the same time that Vivec dissapeared. And for that matter what happened to Vivec? Im just curious that these two never came back, especialy considering what happened to the province of Morrowind between Oblivion and Skyrim.
The ministry of truth crashes into Vivec city and causes red mountain to errupt, destroying Vanderfall and causing a lot of damage to the rest of the province. The dark elves relocate to Solstheium after the Argonians invade Morrowind
I kinda hope maby we will see some of that in an expansion since most of the Dark Elf population is now living on Solstheium just south of Skyrim.

The quest "The Forsworn Conspiracy" ends in either dieing or going to jail. Feel like I wasted a long time for nothing.

No. It spoils it if you DON'T know how it ends. I'm trying to save people trouble.
