Reading words underrated?

LOL IM DYING HAHAHA
DITTO!
I want this to go into the helpful threads section so bad, or even just stickied directly to the top of the board, but I worry that reporting it might send the wrong message to the mods.
Also, if it takes a little bit of ridicule to get the world to use common sense once in a while, that's definitely a price worth paying.
I was going to add it, but as you said, dont wanna #$%^ of the mods ;p

Pointless, elitist thread.

It's not elitist imo, more like sarcastic/satire...

there are some things the masses will learn- other things, they would learn in an
ideal
world,
but the forums themselves are empirical disproof of people really stopping and answering their own questions before asking them (or posting useless crap).
Well, I'm fairly certain every paladin on the forum has taken a swing at me now. I took my beating like a man and came out better for it.
I'm sure others will be posting on this for another day or two at the most and then it will just fade out into obscurity. I've now read the stickies and have them bookmarked
. The trolls always win and, like it or not, every word we post is just delicious sustenance for their attitude and know-it-all ways. We are all just troll feeders...
I actually believe I should just THANK Quest for making his parody post so I would be motivated to read the threads and get back up to speed on the game and gain some working knowledge.
That said...For the love of God...just leave me alone now!
Read the bolded parts. Satire is usually done with the hope of correcting a flaw in human behavior the satirist observed. Quest has apparently done that. If blueberri starts contributing valuable information, or even just joins the conversation occasionally and doesn't ask any other questions that could be found in the stickies, everyone will forget about this in about a week at the most. The rest of us laugh like crazy at Quest's post. Everyone wins!

Not if we don't let this thread die!
Plus, laughing at Quest is better than laughing with Quest *wink wink*

I have to say, I thought this was just a thread torwards pallies (especially ret) in general and their lack of knowledge on the up to date stuff. Example; Our top ret pally (Inorite) decides to give me some PvP tips on my pally JUST LAST NIGHT and says I should get one of the old librams and use SoR for PvP, because it's so much more bursty than SoV. I laughed to myself and thought, doesn't anyone read? Doesn't anyone even test this stuff out? Way before the idea of SoR for PvP even hit the forums I had tested it and thought "Holy crap, this hits really hard compared to trying to get SoV stacks for PvP". I told him thanks, but I use the deadly libram, and he just replied "oh".
Anywho, it wasn't entirely funny until I got to the Seals of the Pure part, then I lost it. lol

SoR for pvp has been on the forums for... how long has 3.2 patch notes been out now?
Also you mentioned he gave you the tips "just last night". And later on you mention you tried SoR for PvP long before it was on the forums.
So basically you're saying that "just last night" is before 3.2 patch notes was released?
