Armbands of the Construct
Bracers of Righteous Reformation
Link to My Character:
Wowhead says that Construct is better, but I feel like I should be stacking haste now to lower my Holy Light cast time. Any help is appreciated.
Righteous Reformation are probably better.
The Wowhead stat ratings still rate crit significantly above haste, which is why you don't agree with it, but haste>crit. Not to mention the fact you could throw a fat +int gem in Righteous.
To be honest I don't get the Wowhead stat ratings. It has mp5>crit>haste. We've
had that stat set up in this expansion. I can't even figure out which outdated patch that's from; it must be Pre-WotLK entirely if I don't recognize it.
Incidentally you screwed up your links, but that's not of huge importance.
Mp5>crit for mana regen (current patch).
I'm not sure I would weight haste over mp5 though. I would definately weight it higher than crit though.
676 is all you need to be soft capped. Depending on content it will diminish to an extent after that.
So the stat weights arn't all that bad.
I'm not saying they're horrible and completely wrong (int is prominently on top, at least). I'm just saying there was never a time where mp5 was worth more than crit but crit was worth more than haste.
It used to be crit>haste>>>mp5.
Now it's mp5 more or less = haste >>> crit.
I'm mostly just curious which TBC patch the current ratings are from, since the order of mp5>crit>haste doesn't make sense for any WotLK patch.
Weightings could be designed for longevity and not throughput.
Also they could be made with the fact that ever since WotLK was released alot of people have been saying "haste is moronic we have 15% through talents". Well not really, but it's been circulating at alot of places (EJ to name one) that haste is redundant due to our 15% from talents.
Huh, you'd have thought a class with raid healing abilities like we have wouldn't be able to get away with smaller numbers of haste, but I guess I haven't seen the theorycrafting. I guess the weightings could make sense, but I'd always tell people to pump out faster heals than try to rely on a crit when you really need it.
Maybe because we arn't ment to raid heal is why we dont need that much haste.
As long as we're under 2sec cast time on our HLs (JotP puts you at 1.7 sec i think) we really dont need anymore haste since very few bosses hits more than every 2 sec. Now ofcourse more haste is never wrong, but imo it's good to start looking at longevity.
Only reason to take haste>Mp5 earlier is because Mp5 was horribly itemized. And crit was a ton better for regen.
