I've posted a few useful comments that have gotten purged because 1 or 2 people gave them negative ratings....While they may have not been the most useful comments on there they certainly were not pointless or wrong.
I was just reviewing a few of the comments that were purged. One was a confirmation of coordinates (which, if you look
here will tell you that redundent information will commonly be purged).
Another was one that you commented on, and then edited your post saying that you took back what you said.
As a general rule, we try to let the community verify information, and have input on what is useful and what isn't. After all, we moderators don't experience everything, and its always a possibility that we miss something that someone else somewhere picked up.
If you want to make sure that your comments don't get deleted, I highly suggest reading TheOnyx's guide (linked earlier), and more specifically the Positive and Negative Moderation topics.
Thank you for the input, though. ( :

I agree with syntax53. It take like 10 people to rate your comment as awesome and stand out, how ever, it takes one rating from someone to get the comment deleted. Maybe if this was changed to like -5 before it gets purged.
Also, I think that co-ords of npcs should be purged ever now and then (not all at once). If you look
http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=6500 you will see that the dinos are appearing somewhere they dont ever go. They are kited there.
Or do you guys think im being silly?

If you find another such instance, feel free to send an email to feedback@wowhead.com with the NPC and such. Skosiris or some other can deal with it. Alternatively, use the
bug reporting link at the bottom of the page, and I'm sure it will be dealt with accordingly.
