I believe this will be the new raiding spec for hunters once 3.2 is released.

heres why i chose what i did chose:

Ok, Ill start with the beast mastery tree...
First, with endurance training it's for AoEs and the tanking aspect of the hunter...which is also why I put points into aspect of the monkey because you know we need to dodge and stuff.
And with pathfinding you can run away from them faster if your healer dies if u pull too much, and improved mend pet is for healing your pet better while youre runnin away.
Marksmanship tree......
Improved concussive shot is so you can slow the mobs running speed as your running away (healer is still dead) and improved hunter mark so u can do more melee dmg...ill get more into that in the survival tree.
Survival tree....
I put points into savage strike to hit with raptor strike harder for melee dmg because they come at you fast, and haweye to pull from a longer distance.
Here is where the spec truly comes into play with hunter vs wild and deflection you have high parry and also can take more dmg b/c of increased stamina. AND you get counterattack to for when u do parry to strike back for more damage and immobilizes it.
also wyvern sting and scatter shot for CC. and point of no escape for CC
Right now im doing a really decent 1500dps and thats melee before i use any ablities...

First things first, all above posts are just retarted, stupid, bullying posts.
Here's a real post to help you.
First of all, if you're raiding it's best with Surv or Marks spec as these 2 are THE most high dps if not the popular spec there is.
Remeber, hunters are RANGED dps, so most melee stuff should be ignored (unless ya pvping and need some to help u last longer in the battles). So use some of the one u chose for pvping only. U also need to know which ones are best for pvp and ones are best for pve.
U also need to know that there is more focus on boss fights in raids so look for stuff that help that the most.
This one is Surv based for raiding only:

for this spec, more focus on crits and explosive shots and mostly tools ot help u in boss fights.
The glyhs u see helps more on the explosive shots the common serp sting and the mark good for boss fights. Feigh death is good to help lose aggro.

this is spec is also good, fast shooting, good ranged damge, more focus on stings and shot that mostly burst dmg.
The glyhs here also mostly help out the general routine u will use to fight the boss.
so there u have it, 2 spec to give u an idea of how it should be.

i read ur post and i will try it make it second i guess but i dont understand how witha bow i can get over 1500 dps because on my hunter its an epic sword but the ranged weapon isnt good it just has AP on it

Quit this troll crap and actually help him, if keep on telling him off and NOT actually helping then &*!@ off this forum and this game. (Except dro809, he made at least some good points)
Also to Modibybob, remeber u get the sword because of the stats NOT becuase u attack with it. And u dont just use a bow, guns, crossbows are also good but again depends on the stats.
