What place in all of northrend do you think is underfished? i'm trying to level my fishing skill, and get the turtle mount at the same time but i'm on a high pop realm so its a bit hard, any suggestions?

Well, you could always hide behind some tree in Wintergrasp and fish there (this requires quite the fishing skill tho, so you'll mostly catch junk in the beginning), all fish you catch will be worth quite a bit and I've done it many hours without anyone noticing me. No pools there though..
If you want pools just about anywhere is good except Sholazar, lots of people farming nodes and herbs there. Fly along the coastline from upper Borean Tundra to the eastern end of Dragonblight or even all the way to eastern Howling and you would catch a crapload of fish :)
Remember to do the fishing daily every day and always use lures.
As for the turtle mount - good luck with that one. Some people get it quite fast (including myself, amazing because I never win any rolls or have any luck), and some haven't gotten it after 20000 casts.

yeah I got the mount really fast on another realm too, but like I said being a high pop I need to find an area with alot of pools and low farming, so probably fish no one farms, or an area people rarely farm fish at.
you say the southern coasts work well?

I'm on a medium populated server, and the times I've been fishing along the southern coast I haven't really seen anybody at all. Try it out on your server and lemme know how it goes!
Also, the waters in Crystalsong have plenty of Glassfin Minnow schools, and other lakes like the one in the middle of Borean Tundra and Dragonblight have a pretty high concentration of schools, but they might be kind of farmed.

I would suggest fishing along the western and southern coasts in Howling Fjord, usually not many people in those areas. Although personally on my own server I fish in grizzly hills from the rivers up to the Blue Sky Logging Grounds. Never anyone there and half the time I have no reason to leave the logging grounds because nodes respawn fairly quickly. Good luck!

Got my turtle (which I never use) here:

Northern Pool, 42.3, 19.8. Been fishing there for months and not one other person has crossed my path. Bonus #2 is the gratuitous amounts of Pygmy Suckerfish that drop off the Fangtooth Herring.

This is where I always go. For whatever reason I hardly ever see anyone fishing in Crystalsong. I don't know if everyone just assumes it's going to be crowded being right under Dalaran or what, but it's always empty for me on both of the servers I play on.

There's just no reason to be in the zone. Either you're in Dal, or you're somewhere productive. Crystalsong is a bit of padding between the mountains and the shore, nothing more.
There's a reason to be there if you're looking for fishing nodes nobody is using :P
I also like the music and overall feel of Crystalsong. Kind of sad there's hardly anything to do there.

The best place is that lake in Borean Tundra. I can't remember the name of it offhand. You can never run out of pools there as long as there aren't more than 3 people there (I have never seen that many).
For reference, it's the pool with all of the divers in it. The pools there spawn continuously.
Good luck. I have been trying off and on for a while to get the mount. No luck so far.
