To the person who commented that bears can't tank - simply not true. My guilds main tanks are Druid and DK - and while we're not a bleeding edge guild we are well into Ulduar.
Also - Asa made a comment that he can be beaten on dps, but only by an incredibly good player. This about the case, any player from any class (and that inlcudes ret pallies - whoever said they can't top metres) can top the metres IF they are incredible. The dps potential is not precisely even across the board, but it
IS
close enough that skill is enough to poke your head above the crowd.
I've met a few people in game who are better players than I am- 2 of them I cannot outdps in a "regular" fight. One is a hunter, and the other is a DK. Theres a few in my guild that are as good as i am and fight me for the top spot most nights. Fact is though that every single class in the game can break 6k on patchwerk, but the ones that do are the GOOD players, not just the geared ones. I'm comfortable enough with the class though (in terms of its dps potential) that I KNOW anyone that beats me on a metre is a very good player - they beat me because
THEY
were better, not their class
And completely partially sidetracked - I don't believe there is any other spec/class that can drop more damage during a burn phase than a meta lock, so although overall things may be relatively even, locks have a real ace in the hole there. "Burn phases" are typically what really matter (think XT's heart, Razors ground phase, maly with sparks stacked, etc) and a smart lock who times his CD's etc can break 8.5k dps for the duration of heroism. Thats... a lot. Not even a DK with AoD can pull more than I can during a hero.
