From what I read they stated that lvling 80-85 isn't just about DING 81 only 4 more to go its more like WOOT 81. what do you think this will mean is there something that is unlocked or something every time you ding could they make the raids be lvl 81 required lvl 82 required, etc so that every time you din't its not just GOD still not there but actualy hey I dinged 82 Lets go run _______.
I am just trying to figure it out. Maybe better yet they will have all EPIC quest lines where you actualy have fun questing and not just hey kill these 10 mobs then come back I will give you 10g for it.

Personally, here's what I'm hoping:
Leveling will have less to do with grinding XP and more to do with completing an epic, story-laden quest line tailored for each level range. The quests would be less about "go kill X boars" (although these will likely still be involved), and more about our role as a major hero of the Alliance or the Horde.
For instance, level 80 to 81 might simply be called "The Cataclysm"; the quest line would start with us witnessing the destruction and chaos sown by the disaster, at which point we would receive a message from our race's leader calling us home. Once there, we would be sent on emergency quests to gather supplies and rescue the wounded, to fight off the forces of Deathwing or Ragnaros that have emerged and to try and defend the cities and settlements of our peoples that were not destroyed.
The quest chain would be peppered with cut scenes of us working alongside some of the greatest heroes of our individual races to try and dam the spread of the destruction. At the end of the chain, with the world settled into its new, more volatile shape, we would be called before the our races' leaders and have bestowed upon us praise for our actions in the most dire of emergencies - at which point we would reach level 81.
Sorry for the long-winded diatribe there. In short, I hope that each level will be focused on a particular hugely dramatic and important story arc, the completion of which will result in achieving enough XP to reach the next level.
One thing a co-worker, and fellow WoWhead, brought up is that the above story won't exactly work. The quest lines won't be able to include "witnessing the Cataclysm", as I put it, because a character starting at level 1 will have already begun the game and been questing in "New Azeroth" the entire time.
The idea is still solid, though: Each level contains a very detailed, heroic storyline (regardless of the story) with quests that befit a major hero of the Alliance or Horde, interaction with major NPCs, and cut scenes that show us the unfolding story in greater detail. Doing so would make the leveling process feel less like a grind and more like an achievement.
