The most famous I can think of is Cenarius. He's worshiped by the druids and is a demigod of nature, however (to my knowledge), only druids actually worship him. Yet even those who don't refer to him as a god of Nature.
Cenarius is also the son of Elune (a goddess), and is therefore a demigod according to both your description and Bioheart's description. Not the best example.

I would not say he's a demigod, no. He has no relation to actual Warcraft gods, after all. Deathwing is crazy powerful and has worshipers (in the form of Twilight's Hammer cultists in Cataclysm), but I wouldn't call him a god either.
Sargeras also has worshipers and he's crazy powerful, but I still wouldn't call him a god, as he appears to be a part of an actual race, the Titans.
I figure gods are supernatural and unexplainable "sentient forces," rather than magical, but still mundane, beings like the Lich King or my other examples.

The closest thing WoW has to Gods are the Old Ones, Elune and the Earthmother. Most of the greater Spirits; such as Malrone and others, are considered to be "gods" and his son Cenarius was a Demi-god, but his son's aren't.
The Lich King is a corpse with the souls of Arthas Menethil and Ner'zhul within it, though he does have almost god-like powers, but those powers were created and crafted by the Dreadlords and the Legion. So he would be a "Demon" as opposed to a demigod, but he isn't even that.

The latter. A true demigod is in fact a person born of a human mother and a god father (or vice versa i think), Hercules is a great example. Arthas is just an insanely powerful being with a lot of followers Just because the Scourge and the CotD worship him as a god, does not mean he is. People could worship me as a god, but i wouldn't be, would i?
Well, lets say this...
The Lich King is not Arthas nor Ner'zhul, but a mix of both.
Arthas was a prince and heir to the throne of Lordaeron, so he had followers and worshipers. Ner'zhul was a powerful shaman, creator of the Dark Portal and leader of the Horde for some time. Those two were the "mother and fathers" of the Lich King.
So, really, the Lich King is pretty much a Demigod. Whether or not he is immortal or eternal is uncertain, but yes, I believe is a Demigod.
