Prot leveling means you get instance groups all the time. It also means you will never die. In case of "oh sh*t" you shield wall, last stand and use enraged regeneration. You can solo elites of your level, you can zip around to the next mob easier than any other spec (both charge and intercept) and the most awesome part of it all...
.. you just auto attack, alt+tab to your favorite website, wait a minute.. alt+tab back, loot, next.
Also, golden moment.. level 78 Prot Warrior (me) in that crafted Saronite defensive gear. Versus a level 80 ganking Rogue in PVP gear (26k hitpoints). Fair fight, used all cooldowns of course.. but I kicked his ass =D
I found Fury to be very immobile, easily Rage starved and lacking action. It's very annoying to actively watch for Slam procs and the self healing is moderate at best.
Arms was much better before they nerfed Juggernaut. But still it's kinda amazing. Every cooldown of Bladestorm means you can easily solo about 6 mobs of your level. It used to be much easier when you could use Sweeping Strikes in combination with Bladestorm, but it's still a nice multi-target spec.
Just bring food.
Unless you're prot. Then you'll never sit down. Enraged Regeneration and Last Stand are all you'll ever need.

Did they change SS or BS so that they can't be used in conjunction?
About a year ago I think.
Was for arena balancing(pet+lock/hunter issues)
