Feel free to create a new thread about the subject again, but please try and start future threads with more substance and civility (like I stated before). Using the pink unicorn example wasn't exactly a starter to get an intelligent discussion off the ground. I've been doing this long enough to know that it wouldn't have been there long given the substance of the thread that I saw when I posted.
The thread was locked because Skyfire joined the debate and eventually got roflstomped, and abused his moderator powers.
Well if its legit for moderators to locks threads when they disagree with the posters in them for personal reasons, then yeah maybe that's what I'm looking for.
Its not appropriate to lock a thread, then post an uninformed comment in it without any chance of a public response.
All these comments is the reason I informed everyone we have a feedback email to discuss these issues (again: feedback@wowhead.com). We do not discuss the actions of our staff in public threads, I'm sorry.
This will be the last I have to say of the subject at hand.
