saying ArP scales with itself is incorrect simply because stacking ArP does not increase the amount done by all the ArP you get before stacking. if anything stacking ArP will decrease the effective value of each point of ArP on your gear because it is taking away from the AP pool for your ArP to work on. There appears to be a point when ArP may outdo STR as the stat to gem for but only because ArP you have on your gear would have to be severly lacking in comparison to your AP pool. If you ran with 8k ap pool and 100 or so ArP it would show this most likely with whatever you are using. Even so, to achieve such a feat would most likely require you to avoid the stat like the plague.
Every other source of information i have access to says otherwise.
Where one point of ArP is worth more when you have 600 ArP then when you have 300 ArP.

2114 STR, 313 ArP: ArP is at 0,8
2114 STR, 626 ArP: ArP is at 0,94
2114 STR, 1100 ArP: ArP is at 1,25
Kahorie's DK Simulator:
2114 STR, 313 ArP: ArP is at 2,13 EP
2114 STR, 626 ArP: ArP is at 2,41 EP
2114 STR, 1100 ArP: ArP is at 2,99 EP
Notice: In those test the only stat to change AT ALL was ArP.
I removed sigils/Runeforge/Trinkets from both to make it more simple. (Though this seems go against ArP)
WoWWiki tables:
Going from 0 to 100 is a 2,9% dmg increase with a 1000 white hit (On 10k armor)
Going from 900 to 1000 is a 5,4% dmg increase with a 1000 white hit. (On 10k armor)

It's the other way around. Strength scales with EVERYTHING and ArP only scales with strikes and white attacks.
Where did i even mention abilities? The entire discussion have been about stats.
