Human: Death Knight. If Death Knights were raised from Lordaeron... Plus Arthas.

Gnome: eh... mage? i think making small robots and stuff needs some magic after all..

Night Elf: Druid. Whos the first druid? whoes the first druid noow?

Draenei: paladin? (nasty light lovers)

Orc: Warrior. Orcs are honorable, and have a violent history. It just works.

Troll: Shaman. Kinda laid back and in tune with nature.

Tauren: warrior. they big and strong. and they kill things with big tree in hands. (wc3)

Undead: rogue. hells! they got deathstalkers!

Blood Elf: warlock... kinda mage... but.. MORE FEL MAGIC! and demons! yey!

P.S. looks like i lost priests somewhere... eh...

How in the hell would you not see that.

Draenei... The Naruu anyone?

Lore-wise you are right, I should probably switch those. But then again the racials fit so much better the other way around :( Draenei self heal is awesome for Mage leveling and the hit rating doesn't do anything for Paladin healing. Arcane torrent on the other hand is great for Paladin tank/dps and does (almost) nothing for mages.

And (the most important reason) female Draenei Paladins look kind of strange in their heavy armor. And male Draenei are generally ugly. The prettiest (female) race in the game just has to look awesome and as a Mage they look so much better then as a Paladin.

AND Blood Elves can only ever be Paladins or Warlocks. Those classes get their own mount. You seriously can't play BEs with any other class because then you'd have to sit on that ridiculous gay bird. Seriously, not an option.

BE Warlock
Draenei Paladin
Gnome Mage
(rest as in the initial post)

That combination might work, both for roleplay and mounts. It still doesn't make good use of racials and won't have the awesome Draenei looks.
