Hello. Been wondering about if Blizzard is planning that any of the Icecrown Citadel (Raid) Difficultys will be Pug-able?
Would love to clear that raid (in 10man normal mode atleast) to see how it look. But i can't really be arsed to find a guild ;)
Whether a raid is "puggable" or not really isn't in the realm of design intent. It depends on the people involved. I'm sure that eventually it will be puggable, just like every other raid instance to date.

Do you mean puggable by ten people who just hit 80 yesterday and have no concept of progression? Or puggable by 9 close-knit and well geared guildies looking for one extra because they're in a small guild?
'Puggable' is much too subjective to be a consistent method of measuring difficulty.

Everything is pugable. What determine if a pug will succeed or not is based on:
- Their capacity to listen (which 95% of them fail to)
- Their knowledge of the encounter (which 95% of them fail to)
- Their gears (which 95% of them fail to)
That is why 95% of pugs fail

I dont think so. People think its gonna be so easy but we'll c. heck in normal mode, some people are having problems with the ecounters anyway so we can just assume anything about it being puggable.

Failure is multiplicative.

So, 857,375% of pugs fail? Sounds accurate to me.
95%= 0.95 last time I checked...
0.95*0.95*0.95=0.857375 or 85.74%.

Well, TOGC is still not puggable, even weeks after it's been available. I would bet that it'll be similar to that in that normal modes will be able to be facerolled by people without much synergy after a month or so, and heroic will only be downable by well-geared groups with tight coordination, even long after the fights are known.
By a good group I would say ToGC10 is puggable.
It is.
Wouldn't advice it though, it's a huge risk.

I've pugged it
