Icecrown Citadel - Algalon style boss

Considering Icecrown Citadel is soon going to be the incoming patch (after 3.2.2). A question popped into my mind: "Does Blizzard see any prospect in continuing their 'Algalon style' perma hard-mode into the next raid?"
Although, I don't see this as something that is impossible. I am interested to see if Blizzard developers will pull in the Lich King as the hard mode only boss, or have a completely different boss. The only thing that would kill this idea is that the Lich King
should
be the hardest fight with this final patch, but not necessarily will.
What I think will happen with the final dungeon for this ex-pac is the use of the same key system similar to Algalon. You get the quest key, kill the target bosses, and then get a new key for unlocking the hard mode. Lore wise, this could be used to separate the final boss battle into 2 key situations:
Situation A (normal mode):
You confront the Lich King in a final showdown involving you and your raid members. Upon killing him you get your tasty lewtz and move on without thinking that there might be more than just killing him.
Situation B(Hard mode):
You confront the Lich King with knowledge of some plot device that causes the Lich King's strategies to change. Instead of attack pattern A, he uses B; instead of using model A, he changes into a more super powered model B. Upon killing him, you and your raid realize that you saved Azeroth from something that you would never had expected in Situation A.
The style of lore development in both situations reflects the same way Algalon impacted the lore of Ulduar. Just because you kill Yogg doesn't exactly mean all is well and dandy. Similarly, killing the Lich King would seem unsatisfactory without being able to feel as though a greater plan that was being formed was at work.
Too long; didn't read:
What is there to expect with Icecrown and its possible Algalon-style hard mode.
Sorry, those who don't read get the very watered down version.
"...and knowing is half the battle!"

The coming of Algalon was foreshadowed by Loken, i dont see how this über form of the Lich King would fit into all this.

Blizzard is slowly killing WoW to cater to the casual players who make up the majority of WoW's player base. ICC will be no different from any other raid in WotLK.

the reason they added hard mode stuff is to give casual player's their ability to go into raids and have fun and at the same time give hard core people something tough to strive for.
If you think any boss is too easy, put an artificial constraint on yourself and your group to beat her in hard mode, if you dont, wipe it and do it again.

This is true, but Blizzard also knows when to make a hard raid encounter aimed at hardcore raiding guilds.
Though, the argument to this is that eventually, everything is nerfed/buffed to the player's favor.
