How hard is this;
MobLife
<
15 Seconds = SoR
MobLife
>
15 Seconds = SoV
Very hard, of course - Fixed.
Note to the world - Quest actually made a mistake!
Thats what I get for not sleeping.

By the time most Wowhead users are decked in T9/9.5 3.2.2 will be out, in which time SoComm will be better than SoR for all 2+ mob pulls.

So until we hit T9.5 its SoR for short trash pulls and short boss fights... wierd.
No, until 3.2.2 when SoC gets a buff. But even then, in pvp, SoR will be better in most situations. Huge burst on one target.
Current SoC would be better if you have hit-cap and exp hard-cap. This way you nearly always hit unless something special is happening. And THEN youd still need higher stats to get SoC to overtake SoR.
This is mainly due to SoC being on a two-roll system and SoR being on a one-roll system. (and SoC desperately needing to do double damage or
something
special on a stunned/incapacitated mob)
Quick Example:
Character with 0 hit and 0 expertise
OneRoll System
Action | %Chance%
-------+---------
Miss | 0-7
Dodge | 8-14
Parry | 15-28
Hit | 29-70
Crit | 71-100
TwoRoll System
Roll 1
Action | %Chance%
-------+---------
Miss | 0-7
Dodge | 8-14
Parry | 15-28
Hit | 29-100
Roll 2
Action | %Chance%
-------+---------
Hit | 0-70
Crit | 71-100
Now if youre paying attention you may realize that 2 roll systems suck balls (statistically speaking ofc). Ontop of that suckage remember that SoC, like SoR can full not even proc if the attack its procing off of does not hit/crit. Meaning SoC has to go through a one roll system in order to have a chance to proc in the first place before it can get to the crap-fest that is a 2-roll system.
As if that weren't enough, SoR cannot be parried nor dodged
nor missed
, while SoC can be while SoR remains on a superior 1roll system! Thus you can add the parry/dodge/miss chance to the chance SoR will simply hit. (ofc you want the initial attack to proc SoR to hit so capping yourself is always good) So the fact that SoC can crit means crap if your gear is no capped.
TL;DR:
SOR 4 LYFE (except if mob lives longer than 15 sec then SoV 4 lyfe)
Disclaimer; Lyfe may or may not be equal to the time from now until 3.2.2 comes out. YMMV no refunds
