Holy build @ level 62
I'll add in a cookie cutter build for holy, prot and ret for PvE in my FAQ when I get the time to do so

I have to disagree with mrmunkles. It seems to me that you've got things backwards--blessed life is a PVE talent and improved concentration aura is a PVP talent.
The reason?
In PVE, you are more likely to draw aggro from a mob/boss than you are to be subject to spell interruption (i.e. a rogue's kick). Blessed life allows you to potentially shrug off some mob damage in time for your tank to draw aggro back.
In PVP, you are very likely to be subject to spell interruption, so improved conc. is critical. Blessed life is something that
could
be useful in PVP, but your points are better spent elsewhere.

Ok, Sunwing, mrmunkles,
you both make good points, but at this point in the game i believe that it's personal preference.
after all, you have to invest 15 points to get to imp. con. aura and 3 more points to max it out whereas blessed life is accessable to any holy paladin without climbing a tree
they are both good to have, but it won't make or break the raid if you don't have it
yes with gruuls silence it does help with reducing the silence by 1.2 seconds but for encounter there are spells that will help and some that are useless
all it boils down to is
do you want to spend extra 6 points for imp. con. aura?
and i believe that's personal preference

I never explicitly said that blessed life was a
good
PVE talent--just that it is more suited for PVE than PVP. My issue was with your "blessed life is purely used for PVP" comment, which is simply not the case--in fact, I would go so far as to say the majority of PVP holy paladins won't even consider blessed life as part of their talent tree. This is due to the necessity of going to improved conc./stoicism in the protection tree, and blessed life is the most "skippable" of talents in the holy tree.
Regardless, I think blademeld has the right idea. Everyone is a little different, and everyone will vehemently argue for
their
build because it works for
them

Wow .... just wow.
You want imp concentration for when you do fights like gruul and you are GOING to get silenced. You want imp concentration for when your doing heroics and you get randomly put to sleep, silenced, kicked, or interrupted. Blessed life is USELESS in pve because of the extremely low percentage you get hit as a healer (if you party with a half way decent tank). On average with my pally tank (who uses ret) I usually end up with >200 damage done for the whole fight. IE I get struck less than 10 times an instance.
Pally's should be in plate and as such will not die from a single hit, and if your pulling THAT much off your tank with heals then you should drop group and try to find a better one.
Your welcome to disagree with me, but im one of the better geared pally's on the alliance side of dethecus, and the pally officer of my guild. I can out heal any and every healer ive met even those with 200+ more healing than ive got. Ive got experience on every boss up to hyjal and have completed every heroic. I wouldnt accept a healers app with blessed life for pve raiding, and if you think otherwise you really need to rethink your standpoint.
You wouldn't accept an application simply because of a personal preference in their talent build? You do realize that Imp Conc Aura can be used for multiple people, right? If you have paladins that are often in the same group for almost every single fight, then it is
worthless
for everyone to spec into it. Blessed Life, while it may be horrible, can at least help reduce a fraction of raid-wide (AOE) damage that is often present in most fights in BC.
Healing meters are completely situational. Just because someone can outheal other people in their guild/group doesn't mean that they are the best. Did their healing assignment die? No? Great!
