Help Identifying a Disco addon

i have a disco priest alt, and as i'm getting more comfortable healing, there is certain information i'd really like to see on my UI. hopefully, one of you experienced priesties can help.
currently, i use pitbull for raid frames and clique for most of my healing spells. i would really like to be able to see the following on my raid frames:
1) anyone's weakened soul debuff
2) my prayer of mending - where is it and how many charges are left?
3) my renew
4) **extra bonus** my DA
right now, i have debuffs turned on in pitbull, which helps with #1, but it also shows any debuff on the target - most of which i don't care about. i have quartz set up to show buffs on my target, so i can see #2,3,4 - but only on my target, not on the raid. turning buffs on for my raid frames would be a mess - i need more control than pitbull allows.
i would also like to see a notice or countdown for pennace and PoM cooldowns. i keep trying to move the cast buttons somewhere convenient, but i just can't find a good spot that catches my eye. i don't use any scrolling text, so i'm looking for something else that shows these cooldown nicely.
thanks in advance for tips :)

I use grid, and while it does do 1 and 3 for the raid, and that you can turn off all other aura's, it does not support 2 or 4, sorry. I think technically you can get it to do part of 2 (what character it is on) but not the number of charges.
why care about 4? it is usually not large enough to really absorb more than a hit or two...?

I should really go back and redo these, but I did a series on UI stuff back in the winter.
Part 1
is on tracking buffs & debuffs,
Part 2
is on tracking cooldowns. Hopefully you'll find something useful in there.

ok, i'll take a look at grid, thanks. at least knowing where PoM is would be nice.
as far as DA, i might not care that much, but i've heard of people stacking DA before a big hit and it might help for that. of course, i could just target the MT in that case, i guess. that's one's not too important to me.
i'll go read your posts too paolo, thanks for that.
healbot scares me, lol - i've just heard such mixed reviews on it.

hmm, i remember reading those posts before...still good stuff, forgot about making the bars change color for different "curable" debuffs though...need to do that.
The PoM tracker looks fun and good....but the only "necessary" bit from it would be who has it (when making the decision on "to shield or not to shield") and when it finally fades, prompting me to cast it again. (if in high tank damage mode where i am casting PoM on CD for the extra Hps, the entire addon become pretty trivial) So....mixed feelings on that one...

It's important to find your own way with information displays. You want to constantly reevaluate how you're using grid, power auras, whatever else. As you keep adding new indicators, you will quickly become overwhelmed with data. Not all data is created equal! In fact some data is far more equal than others. So keep gut-checking to ensure you have the right hierarchy, with the most urgent and decision-influencing indicators most prominent.
I would not recommend trying to use grid to track pom completely. Who has it, how many charges are left, time to expire, time remaining on its casting cooldown... I only track who has the frisbee on my grid frame. Everything else is shown In a small but separate addon, as that information is not as actionable.

dude, are you kidding?
your post rocks - i really got some good information out of it. i think i'll cut down a bit - you have more redundant information that i'd like. i'm going to start with grid, ghost pulse and broker POM.
kind of a bummer because i was just getting really happy with my pitbull raid frames, but it doesn't offer nearly enough buff/debuff control.
i agree with what you said about finding your own way - the more i heal, the more i realize what i'm missing. i've just started healing our normal toc runs after tanking the togc runs, and i think these changes are going to help.
oh, and uh - healing is work! :)
i'm definitely getting a new appreciation for what you guys have been doing all this time...

Started using Vuhdo since it popped up on
DYS
, it has been full of joy and rainbows for me. I was able to completely move from Grid+Healbot to a single addon. Thanks to Vuhdo's very well designed config screen and ability to drag and drop spells into my mouse over button actions, I was able to have it completely configured for my raiding setup in under 20 mins (a large portion was finding that Reaper Mice dont broadcast side buttons as assignable mouse buttons >_< ). Couple that with info gleaned from
Paolo's disco site
(so full of win! gear score post anyone?), I've since jumped in my own personal ease of information access.
What Paolo said is definitely key, you need to find out what data YOU need and when YOU need it. Start fiddling around with some of the addons we've all suggested till you find a concoction that works!

if you could point me in the right direction on the pitbull menus, i'd appreciate it. i haven't found anything that lets you customize which buffs/debuffs are shown.

To track PoM u can use PoMtracker if u want a seperate addon... I use Vuhdo nowdays thos (similair to heal bot and grid/clique) which will track it and other ppls for me.
