Wtf?
Oh, and it seems the main FF13 game is now Lightning's Saga, even though she was part of an ensemble in the original (I thought Vanille was more of the protagonist, with Lightning as the deuteragonist) and was a background character in the sequel.

That's a movie, not a game.

How is that even cranky I WILL FEAST ON THE BLOOD OF YOUR UNBORN CHILDREN.
No but seriously that wasn't even cranky a little bit.
face obviously mistook the thread for the movie thread, so.
Trust me, if I was specifically cranky you'd all know it. :P

The final FF13 (in terms of Lightning and co) game has been confirmed
. I need it right now.
That's....well that is interesting sounding, but what is it with the Crystal Novalis games and the number 13?

It's a speshul number, duh!
I just wish they'd made the sequel more directly related to the ending of XIII-2 tbh. Also Squee are the biggest Lightning fangirls.

Eh, we'll have to wait and see lol; don't forget there is still that DLC for XIII-2 to come out as well.

So, just got myself the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. Well, aside from the massive resolution issues, FPS drops, camera issues, bad controls and all the other issues the game has, it's a great game. It's insanely hard and punishing; but beating the first boss feels really, really rewarding. I'm looking for fixes to the camera issues, but other than that I've managed to fix everything else, and once you get past the early issues the game is really great - the combat system is top-notch.

That sounds exactly like a player's experience of IWBTG, except IWBTG has more crashing.

So I've just downloaded a whole number of games from MyAbandonware and started playing them on DosBox on my tablet...
Only thing now is trying to work out how best to deal with the need for a mouse...

Gamefly has been around several years now and I'm going to try it out. The thing is there are a ton of games out there and I'm not sure which are worth playing.
I'm kinda curious as what some people think are fun to try. I plan on getting Dishonored and Far Cry 3. But after those I'm not real sure what else to try.
As a heads up, I can't play any games that require being online or games that focus mainly on online play. My laptop is also bad and I'm not sure how well the desktop we have will work. But I do have a PS3 and a 360. As well as a regular DS and PSP, but no 3DS.
I like most games so I'm up for trying anything. Except horror games, not a huge fan of those.

You could, I don't know if this would work, use a real computer with a mouse.
Hint: because humor dose not go though the internet well this was a joke.
In all seriousness, a real comp doesn't have a 12 hour battery life that I can take on a plane, main reason why I'm using a tablet. That, and I can't be bothered to find a reliable dos emulator for my PC, and I can't run it in a native Windows 64-bit environment.

Wow awesome Milayu, thanks.
And I've seen a lot of those games, played Borderlands 1 and played some of 2 with a friend. He
power leveled my toon to 50 but we stopped there and didn't do much else.
I also played one of the armored core games, I think it was the second one. I enjoyed it quite much.
As for the rest, I'll look at YouTube for videos of them.
These should keep me busy for a while, but if you have something to add feel free lol.

@ Nathanyal, other than old-school games, I've recently been playing Heroes of Might and Magic VI, along with various tablet OS games such as Chaos Rings and some tower defense stuff.
Given you have a PS3, have you looked into the Final Fantasy series? Or is that a silly question?

Not any of the newer FF games, I have played some of the others though. Also played Crisis Core and Tactics on my PSP.
I still have my PS2 and original Xbox if you think there might be a game on there.
And Squish, have you thought about finding a tablet controller? I know several companies have been been making them recently. They even have ones that go around the aides of it and plays kinda like the Wii U remote.
