1) given the numbers you posted, the 3.4 sword must have higher dps, right? a link to the swords would help, but in this case, put the faster one in your MH (as it also has a higher damage range).
2) you use your slam dumps after WW/BT in your empty GCD. HS is your rage dump, so manage your rage level that way.
3) last time i checked, stick with your normal rotation and use execute as a filler - someone correct me if that's changed. execute does NOT use all your rage anymore - it's capped at 30, so continue to queue HS as needed.

When in doubt, try it both ways, check the tooltip, use whichever one gives you the better MH damage for Slam and HS.
Actually, for HS you'd want the weapon as fast as possible (since then you lose less autoattack rage per HS). Slam does pull the other way, as does whirlwind in a much lesser degree (though you have to take normalization into account there, so you can't use the tooltip alone).

If your execute is putting out better dmg than your bloodthirst, your attack power is probably too low. BT scales with AP better than any other attack in the game.
Yea was also thinking that.
For me in raids, BT crits=10-15k(procs and al that stuf) and execute 6-7k
0:BT
1.5:WW
3:free GCD
4.5:BT
6:free GCD
7.5:free GCD
9:BT
repeat
in the first 80% you replace the free GCD's with slams
In the last 20% you you use execute instead of.
