TLDR: Font type and size is a lot smaller than normal in Database/ comments, some headings sections. Fine on News and News articles.
Possibly related to some site issues like I got an Error even posting this message Topic "319818" is deleted!" but is posted fine. Site guide is missing most text and comments which happened before on all some days back when site had issues. Not sure if related. Page not working correctly:
https://www.wowhead.com/guides/garrisons/shipyard
I had an issue for a month or so that the PTR section all the font in database/ comments was much smaller than normal. Now on Live I also have the same issue and finding it really hard to read. Not sure what has changed or where to check any setting preference specific to the site or some CSS issue.
I normally have 100% Zoom in Chrome and that is the same. I checked font settings and they are the same. I do not have this issue on other sites.
The front page News section, all the fonts show as normal and decent size. The text for BlueTracker those types of sections is also small though on same page. News items are all the correct size.
So it is some fonts/ sizes for the BlueTracker/ Recent news type boxes is small but manageable. But the database really is v hard to read on a 4K screen and the small size which literally changed today (on PTR was the same for the month or so). Not sure why the two different database sections would have been different before.
I cleared the cache but it did not help or rebooting computer. Not sure what else to check or change to get it readable for me again. Any advice info would be appreciated.
I can post comparison screenshots if that helps.

I don't see why PTR would look so different from Live, since we do not style them separately. They both use the exact same rules, especially for font sizes etc.
Try disabling any browser extensions? Try a different browser? I don't know what would cause your issue but I think it's something you're running, not something we have any control over.

Comparison screenshots would help a lot, can you post those? What browser/OS are you on? Are you using any browser extensions that change the styles on sites? If you're familiar with inspecting page elements, could you tell us the exact font sizes or possibly screenshot the "Styles" section of the page inspector? The topic deleted issue is something on our end, we'll look into that.

I just mentioned that as I noticed it when checking stuff before SL launch Live and when being directed to PTR content it was the same when Live was normal.

See details below, it is the same with all extensions disabled though I have none that should alter any site content. I tried Microsoft Edge and it was the same, see below.

Sure here is all the detail and screenshots that I thought of in response:
Details
OS:
Windows 10 Home - 20H2 - 19042.685
Monitor:
27 inch 2560 x 1440 (default)
Browser:
Google Chrome Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Note:
All extensions disabled
Settings:
Font size = Medium (Recommended)
Customize fonts:
Font size = 16
Minimum font size = 12
Standard font = Times New Roman 16
Serif font = Times New Roman 16
San-serif font = Arial 16
Fixed-width font = Consolas 16
Page zoom = 110% (used for all browsing just to aid readability)
These are all the default font settings from what I can see. Except minimum fint size I bumped up to 12 to try and help, and my normal zoom 110%).
I tried Microsoft Edge just to see and it appears the same. I increased zoom to 110% for proper comparison. See screenshot also.
Screenshots
Screenshot examples. All at 2560 x 1440 native monitor resolution;
Wowhead main page
- All seems normal (as before) the info windows i.e. BlueTracker has smaller text but that's normal as they link etc.
Wowhead main page content
- All seems normal with (to me) normal size font etc. easy to read (Arial I assume).
Wowhead new article page
- Again all normal font size and easy to read.
Wowhead database comments section
- Before the text for comments was like news and easy to read. Now since yesterday (before on PTR) it is much smaller like fixed-width font type not normal Arial font.
Wowhead - Forum post and replies page
- This also shows the small font plus there is something off with the thread header seems really large, larger than normal?
Wowhead forum post developer tools details
- As requested, tried to ensure it was the correct body section.
Wowhead forum reply comments using Microsoft Edge
- Again the same issue. Note the small comment text but v large header size.
No idea what is the cause. Seems to be making the comment text use fixed-width font? when normally it doesn't? But also making thread headers appear much larger in comparison.
If you need any more detail let me know.
Thanks for your help.

I can't see any issues in those screenshots. They appear to be using the right fonts, and we haven't changed fonts or font sizes in years. We use Open Sans for most text (it's similar to Arial), primarily at 14px size, and in some special areas such as tooltips or the name columns of tables we use Verdana (at 12px in tooltips, or 14px when used elsewhere).

Perhaps it is not clear from the screenshots if not viewed at full size. Here is a side-by-side comparison which shows the difference which is visually clear to me.
Plus as it looked with normal window width (same as first two) now appears when window width is reduced (I noticed this when viewing Developer Tools to check Style where it reduces width).
Text size comparisons
Top = News post text
Middle = Comments post text
Bottom = Same comment but window width reduced until font size changes to the same as News text.
It seems from your post that the font and size should be the same (neither being tooltips or columns) but they are not when I view them. Checking the Style info it seems the same but it is not appearing as such on the two pages, except when width changed narrower.
Checking the News section when width reduced and compared to the Comments section, the News text does not behave like this and remains the same font size whatever the width. The Comments text increases in font size to a similar font size as in News and as it was for me before;
Comments section font size before width reduced v when reduced.
News section font size before width reduced v when reduced.
Basically the text when reduced width is how it looked like previously when browsing a normal width window. Easier for me to read.
I'll try and find out what otherwise may be causing it. It would help if you had any other suggest where to look. But there seems some reason why, although the font size is the same in Style, there is this difference when viewed, at least via Google Chrome and Edge.
Edit: Just checked via the
Mac and both Safari and Chrome
is viewing correctly so looks like a specific issue with Windows 10/ Google Chrome & Edge (uses similar devkit if I remember right).
For now I increased Zoom 110% > 125% just for this site and search for some solution.
Thing that I miss is how the fonts are different on the news section to those on the database and forum comments if they are the same in the style settings?

I just wanted to update on this. Basically it is largely an issue of my own making /sheepish. In the past I had set the zoon level for the Live Wowhead site to 125% to make the text readable, hence why other sections like Beta appeared small to me now. And must have set the Live page to 110% recently, hence the text appearing small.
I an still not sure why it is, given that the ccs style should be the same for the News section is quite readable (for my vision) at 110% zoom but that comments etc. are so much smaller (see example I posted above to compare how I view it)?
By setting Zoom on Chrome to 125% it is readable it just makes all the headers etc. very large.
Anyhow, thanks again for taking the time to try and help.
