Fix elementals!

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Elementals need to be fixed.
My evidence:
Problem:
Elemental does not stack as well as other classes when taking raid buffs.
The exact problem is that elemental shamans do not gain spell damage from anything except spell damage. No spell damage from int, not spirit, nothing. Enhancement shamans even get spell damage from intellect.
How:
-A mage gains 8% crit from me, they gain like 280 spell power. I get 3% crit from a mage, if they like me specifically, and MAYBE some mana regen that I don't need. Add on a lot of mana that I don't need and a tiny amount of crit and voila.
-Warlocks get the same, and give me a spell damage proc if they're demon... and curse of the elements.
-The list goes on, but I'll just delve into other things. Note that every caster gets this from mages and warlocks.
Proof:
My friend is enhancement, in similar gear to me, and we both had a test. In raid, I get roughly 3.3k dps, where as he gets more around 4k. We tried testing our dps alone (note that we're different factions, so we didn't totem buff eachother), with only our own totems and our own buffs. He did roughly 2.6k dps, and I did roughly 2.7k.
Meaning? In raid he gained more than me. A LOT more than me.
Other people pass it off that "your dps increase is the dps increase of the entire raid," the problem that I hold with this is that my guild doesn't see my the raid's dps as me. They see individuals who can do better or worse.
So, the buffs I receive when going into a raid that actually impact my dps are my own buffs, the mage crit buff, and food. Possibly a potion, which I would provide. So why don't I just cook?
Solution:
I think a decent solution to this problem would be to take the flat spell damage effect OFF of flametongue weapon. Then, add a percentage of spell damage from intellect to the weapon buff, making it similar to other classes' increases from specified stats.
The percentage based increase while pulling off the flat increase would be to combat two possible problems. Either A) blizz would make the percentage too high, and shamans would become too OP; or B) the percentage would be too low and shamans would not actually stack in raids anyways.
How to keep enhancement from getting out of hand? Simply reduce their increased spell damage from AP by a slight value. This would make them stack SLIGHTLY less in raids due to their raiding attack power increases, but would eventually stop them from benefiting from the stack as well.
Another possible solution could be to make a deep elemental talent that would actually swap the flat value for a percentage...
Yeah any input would be nice, I'm out of WoW time right now otherwise this would be posted on the actual WoW forums.
Thanks!

When im raiding on my ele shammy i always do close to 4k DPS on every single boss in naxx25, and even though we dont get a percentage of a specifik stat then we have flametounge weapon .. the SP increase from that is alot more than druids get from Spirit, paladins get from Intellect and so on so please dont QQ ;)
Also take glyph of ToW and you get even more SP, so I would say its very balanced :b

Agh... So I haven't gotten into Ulduar yet, and shamans do own things... I get that, I just wish I did more damage from something other than spell damage and crit. Haste is given to me by.. looks like me. Crit, that's all me, unless there's a mage on the job, spell damage, that's once again all me (cept food and flask of the frostwyrm, which I could have just made myself).
I dunno, I've got the glyph... I do the FS LvB LBx4 LvB LBx3/4, what have I done wrong?

BTW I know my hit is low, and I also know exactly what I need to do to fix that
*edit* If you complain about my instant cast ghost wolf i'll have you know that there is NOTHING else I need throw those points into, because eye of the storm is useless when my tanks do their job

I think you answered your own question... you have next to NO hit. That will screw you over. Half your gear looks more like restoration gear than elemental...

Well, scorch is basicly a debuff given to the target. So it's a passive buff for all casters who use fire spells if i can call it like that. Oath is a buff that u give when u crit, so im pretty sure those two stacks. However, i'm not sure if Oath stacks with Moonkin Aura ?
Oath and Moonkin are the same, so no - they don't stack.

I am not really seeing your point op. Ele shaman are supposed to be a dps class that their main job is buffing the raid.
His point is that Elemental shaman don't scale as much as other classes in raids. He's right, too.
It's an irrelevant issue though, since raid dps is balanced with the assumption that you have all the core raid buffs and
Blessing of Kings
is the only non-static buff.
Even if Elemental had their own version of
Nature's Blessing
so that they benefited more from being buffed nobody would take it because it would be a negligible amount of spell power.
Oh, and Blizzard would just nerf a spell so that Elemental wasn't doing a disproportionate amount of damage while raid buffed.

I'm a n00b shammy, but I had this problem on my lock, it was depressesing me when first going into naxx10, then i picked up a few hit items and my dps boosted majorly.
hit>all :)

That's exactly what I'm talking about. On 10-man I can get top or 2nd, but 25-man I'm pulling like 10th.
It's prolly because the other casters don't have as MANY other casters to benefit from, seeing as in 10 there'd be like 2-3. I just benefit from myself really, so I do amazing in that situation.
