Melee dps would be DK, for obvious reasons. Slowest would be warrior.
Healer, if your leveling in a healing spec will all be really slow, but i'd probably say Holy Priest by a hair. If your leveling a healer in any spec (ie respec at 80, grind with a normal spec) then i would say feral druid and enchance shammy > resto druid/shammy are both very quick.

and paladin? paladin is easiet to level as a shaman, these two are fastest to level, go retri or enhancment sham and at level 74 or more start picking up healing gear so at 80 you will respec to healing with some decent gear

ok so i recommend you shaman or druid, for levelling both is good, have leather armor, shaman have mail at 40, so they can survive :-D got nice dmg and are good healers at 80 so pick one of these two, priest is good healer, but levelling him? no thx

Discipline priest is pretty good too. Except it's better at the bottom of the tree so it's best to lvl shadow until about 60 then respec. Its definitly better than resto shaman or resto druid. I don't have a paladin so i can't say there, and less drinking than a holy priest
i agree, disc priest is good for healing, but i dont wanna to level it, even as a shadow its a pain in the ass :)

Warlock(aff) & priest is quite effective for leveling. Warlocks are excellent at handling multiple mobs and with an improved voidy you can pretty much agrro half the zone while the priest heals the voidy and you down the mobs. If the @#$% hits the fan then the lock can sac the voidy and the priest bubbles while you run like fook.
Saying this though i'm talking about when i leveled from 60-70 with a guildy. Considering you can pretty much roll your face on the keyboard and do the early levels now it doesn't matter you don't start off with a voidwalker heh.
If you really want to level fast then abuse the RaF system.
yes with lock it can be good, but you dont have that lock all the time

took me 7days played to level from 70 to 80 as a "Circle of Healing" Priest.

Why not level the healer with a dps spec? There's no reason to spec for healing while leveling; even a shadow/feral/balance/ret/etc specced healer can easily heal through anything you'll encounter pre-outland.

Just level a shaman. Then you'll have melee DPS and a healer in one.
If one like, a spellcaster DPS even ^^ :)

Just level a druid. Then you'll have a melee DPS, a Tank, a Healer and a Caster, all in one!

If you are talking teams to level together:
Paladin/Priest combo starts off a bit slow but speeds up as you go along, also going to second the advice to level it as shadow spec and respec later.
Druid/Paladin or Druid/Priest both work well, did alot of my leveling on my holy specced paladin with a feral druid
Warrior/Shaman(resto) another good team
Shaman(melee)/anything except another shaman really
Paladin/Shaman is often used by multiboxers, one would assume they are on to something, but most i've seen is caster shaman + prot or holy paladin.
I left dk's out of it due to the starting level difference
Going to throw this out there but double healer leveling buddies is one of the most interesting things i've done in wow...level 2 druids or paladins together and you will never ever die (barring getting 1 shotted if you get too big for your britches and take on something massively higher level and/or elite)

In that case the leveling speed differences aren't really enough to worry about, pick what ya like.
I chose the above pairs simply off of buffs they could give each other and an eye toward the healing/tanking mechanics of the pairs since the melee dps would effectively be functioning as a tank while leveling.

Somebody can explain why peoples are choosing classes by leveling speed ?
Leveling is
EASY
with
ANY
class ( but I would agree, taking the good spec will spec ).
Choose a class you'll like at 80.
Take 12 days of played to level a toon you'll play.
Dont waste 8 days of played to level a toon you wont play.
