Etiquette on PvP servers?

A lot of decent advice here.
I've only ever played on PvP servers, and levelled my main as a Prot paladin most of my life (my alt is an Afflict Warlock). In both cases, world PvP provided some of the most amusing moments, providing that the match up is of a decent level.
You'll find a few losers out there who will gank on sight, but a few days of playing in contested zones will teach you whether or not you actually want to change your habits around opposing players, or whether you welcome the conflict. Some people like to avoid, others like the thrill of danger.
There are a few PvP moments that come to mind:
1) Being challenged in Hellfire Peninsula by every DK and his ghoul when Wrath came out. Aside from providing me with plenty of PvP practice, it was amusing watching DKs attempting to get the upper hand by making the first strike.
2) Being mind controlled off a cliff in Icecrown while I was lagging majorly, but not before I pulled up a bubble. When my screen finally came to about a minute later, I found a series of comments where the Priest had actually sat around waiting for me to start responding, tapping her feet, /yawn and /sigh'ing, before getting bored and finishing me off.
3) Being jumped 2 on 1 while levelling in Stonetalon by a couple of green (as opposed to yellow/grey/red) players. Wiping them and camping their sorry asses for the next 10 minutes for thinking that they could steal an easy gank.
4) Bubble. Hearth. /lol /wave.
There is some honour in world PvP sometimes - I've waited for someone to finish eating/drinking before, and vice versa. Of course, they're often outnumbered by the number of times when you'll be attacked while surrounded by mobs (I honestly didn't notice a Warrior once attack me while I was AoE grinding, until the HK popped up), but again, it's just a matter of taste as to how you deal with situations.
