"bricks you". What does that mean?
Apple devices that were "jailbroken" while on iOS 5.1.1, and then are restored and updated via iTunes to iOS 6, will be "bricked" by the upgrade.
"Bricking" is a term used in the cellphone / tablet community to describe what happens when your device is rendered useless, usually by a software issue.
i.e., it becomes a "brick"
Luckily, most devices are only "soft bricked", meaning that with the right skills, you can get them back to functioning. Usually a "hard brick" only happens when a software issue causes a hardware issue...often when people start messing with voltages and over / under clocking the CPU, resulting in a burned board.

Fixed that for you!
And I try my hardest!
Anyways, stayed up way too late tonight, and it wasn't Wowhead's fault this time. Got to walk my mother through setting up her wifi over the phone. Fun times. Now that that's all sorted, I'm crashing.

Wow, Torhead is SOOOOO dead. I mean, Admins and Mods don't even have colored text anymore.
And Guildhead is even deader, their offtopic section has only 4 threads, and about 40+ posts spread across them, the newest one from 2012.
Sometimes I wonder why the ZAM network bothers to make database sites for every new MMO when the traffic for them is so low. Does it cost anything to keep those sites up? do they bring any revenue at all to justify manpower in keeping them running?

Well, they aren't paying me anything, so they get free spam-busting :P
But keep in mind, the forums are not indicative of the health of the site. Only a small fraction of users go through the forums, and the fact that they are currently dead means that even fewer of them are bothering to post at all. But the actual databases get plenty of traffic.

Well what time do you wake up and go to sleep?
I wake up at 7.00am and go to sleep 0.00-2.30am. Remember that I should sleep 8.50 hours...
Now how old is your mother? You don't need to tell I was just thinking like is she elder or something? Elder with smartphone :p
I'm usually in bed by midnight, and I'm up between 7 and 8 depending on what meetings I have in the morning. And my mom's only in her 40's -- not technologically helpless, but she'd never be able to configure her own router in a million years, heh.

I've been wondering similar myself.

I was wondering about that too, but not in regards to TORhead, but
this one
. Who uses a database for a game with mostly randomly generated loot? If it had screenshots for every armor set and unique item, that would be cool, but it doesn't. I probably play Torch2 more than anyone on these boards, and I have never felt the urge to check Torch2 armory.

I was about to make a new QOTD thread, but then I realized I don't know all the questions that have already been asked, so I'd probably end up posting repeats.

Hey sis, I can take over the QOTD if you'd like. Hold the fort for a year or so until someone else wanna take over.
The QOTD is something of a torch that must be passed around.

What is going on? I sense a disturbance in the fabric of the forums.
