This
is brilliant.I don't understand how Nutella is so delicious.

Wonder what would happen if I posted the same picture, with a watermelon in place of the Nutella, and changed one descriptive word in the caption?
Magician, are you active much on the internet (besides here)?
There's
stuff
like
that
all
over
the
internet
. Don't make this into some sort of crusade.

What's the deal with race and watermelon? I have to say that I've never actually encountered that before, and have no idea where the stereotype comes from. Truth be told, if I buy watermelon from the shops, I will never buy a single wedge or quarter, I'll always get a whole watermelon and eat it over the next few days.

Still think it was funny/stupid all the people with the 'jokes' about Worgen having watermelons drop from mobs in Gilneas.

Isnt it because it was a cheap food source? Same with fried chicken I thought

It's a sterotype that black people eat watermelons and fried chicken. It goes back to the All in the Family and The Jeffersons days (thats the earliest I heard it at least, and it was already a cliche then), they would make a lot of jokes about it because it's cheap food that feeds a lot of people.

It has
pre-1900's origins
, so it's not like you would necessarily see it manifested nowadays.

I'd never heard of it either Squish. Chicken is expensive... at least here it is. It's the least efficient farmed animal for turning feed into meat I think, with pigs being the most efficient.

That could just be because you don't get any high quality beef flowing into your supermarkets ;)
Chicken's probably the cheapest thing in the supermarkets over here. Watermelon can be the cheapest fruit on a price / weight basis, but you've got so much rind there that the cost / actual fruit weight is pretty poor value compared to bananas, apples and the like.

It might also have something to do with KFC having used racist advertisements in the past. Although that seems like it might be a chicken/egg type of situation...
Idk what the racist adds people talk about were or how long KFCs been around.

Watermelon is also very low in energy so I don't think you get much nutrition per gram either. T'is delish though!

Fried stuff in general is meh. Fried oreos, though...
'MURICA.
I don't understand why so many US folks like greasy food. I just had a guildie recommending me a recipe for when I start american cuisine on the academy.
Grab a twinkie, wrap it up in bacon, and then deep-fry it.
Just imagining that thing made me feel nauseated.

@ Haxzor, I was initially turned off by the Yogs style but actually they put out a lot of good content and the secondary cast of character (Sjin, Duncan, sips) are quite charming.
I like the secondary cast as well. Sjin and sips are quite funny when they play together. Simon has his moments as well.
I've kind of stopped watching since all they put out is minecraft stuff.
I enjoyed Sips waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when they did the D&D yogpod.

We have stereotypes about Scots and fried food over here... though I did see a take-away in Scotland selling deep-fried pizza and that's not to mention the obligatory deep-fried Mars bars.

I once saw bacon flavored mayonnaise in a supermarket. The first thought that went through my head was 'this is why Europeans hate us...'

Argh! Path of Exile went down for a patch during a boss fight. I'm really amazed at how much I'm loving this game!

Well, yeah I would normally totally agree but there's some excellent development here. It's a free game with an very friendly F2P model and I'm just having a great time with it. I never played D2 back in the day and didn't get into D3 at all. I enjoyed the Torchlights well enough but this has some depth and seriousness to it that I can really get my teeth into while the Torchlight games were pretty light.
