I actually like it the way it is.
It's genius
. You get shorter queue times, and even if you're level 10 you get decent survivability against a level 40. Adding onto that, the credit and "honor point" rewards are decent. The exp given is plenty so if you want to take a break from leveling or have fallen a bit behind, queuing up and going crazy is actually enjoyable for low levels.
No its not. Its true you don't get 1shoted but you still have a MASSIVE disadvantage vs higher level players.
From the point of view of the higher ones, the lowbies are nothing more than a burden, and from the POV of the lowbies, the higher ones just can't be killed.
Look at this from the perspective of wow.
lets assume blizzard did this too.
So, 2 enhance shammys, 1 lvl 10, and 1 lvl 59.
Lvl 10 shammy gets a boost so he's on par with the lvl 59 one. Both have the same health (lets say 5000) and the same AP (lets say 1000)
so, same health, same AP, they should be even right? WRONG. Lvl 59 one will have stormstrike, flurry, ancestral swiftness, shamanistic rage, seasoned winds, frozen power, and the first rank of Maelstrom Weapon. And that's just looking at the talents. Spell-wise, they also have ghost wolf, wind shear, chain lightining, windfury weapon, grounding totem, mail specialization, windfury totem, frostbrand weapon, frost shock, water shield, and earth bind totem.
See that? right there A GAZZILION ADVANTAGES. Don't tell me the poor lvl 10 shammy will defeat the lvl 59 one even if he gets a boost in HP and AP, because the lvl 59 one will not only have just as much HP and AP, will also have a ton of talents and spells that hte lvl 10 doesn't.
As a lvl 10 inquisitor, I tried taking on a lvl 38 Sentinel........... got my ass handed back to me in spades.
Its not really fun to queue into a BG only to be killed over and over and over. During the time I was in that match I didn't killed a single player, and every time I got entangled in a 1 vs 1, I always lost, why? enemies had CCs, had survival CD,s had tons of skills I still don't have. So while my lil inquisitor got a nice stat boost (had 11k HP) I still was able to do squat. Just stand there and do nothing. That's boring, I wanna participate on the battle and have a realistic chance to win.

I know that my BF has been playing battlegrounds while leveling, and he always seems to do pretty well against the higher levels. Part of it is also going to be the class- a lot of these classes weren't balanced around PvP. Some of the classes are really wrecking face in the BG's, from what I hear.

Its true, It varies a lot by class. For example my Mercenary was able to do well from about level 14 onward because they have their core damage abilities from early on. So all I was lacking was some survivability tools, and if I just stood behind my team and tried not to get caught alone I did very well.
My Sith Assassin on the otherhand doesn't get one of his core abilities until the 40's, so he was regularly getting his ass handed to him in PvP beforehand.
Its not great, but I think its actually better then queing for Warsong at level 10 in wow, and having to fight level 19 twinks in full heirlooms with full enchants. Not only do they have more abilities and talent points then you, but they also probably have 2-3K more hp then you. and twice to three times the spell/ attack power.
The end result is the same as WoW. Blizzard doesn't care about low level PvP because over time every hits max level. SWTOR is the same way, only twinking doesn't really work, so its pvp situation is slightly less screwed.
When it was first released I had massive lag in the Warzones. However now a days I have none. So they must be working on that stuff.

I felt it was trying to illustrate how poorly people communicate. For example in the beginning Hatguy is trying to say that he saw a dangerous hole, but the other guy is really only focusing on Hatguy himself, and he behavior rather then the message he is trying to relay.
As for the alt text, its basically the same as that old saying. "The onus of understanding is on the speaker." Or, rather, if someone does not understand what you are communicating, it is your fault, not theirs.

Like I said, those who take pvp seriously do so at 50. As a 15 Sentinel, I had no problem taking down someone 30 levels higher than me. Utilize those BG buffs and don't Rambo it up. You get a lot of utility at around level 20 but level 10 is far too low. Even if it were a 10-19 bracket, the most you'd be doing at that level was blowing your 1 good cooldown and meleeing until it comes off. Though maybe because I was a melee class, that my melee actually did damage while I waited for the CD...
Off-topic here: I know I've been plugging Tera a lot in the last day but I think this feature is cool as hell,
Chronoscrolls
. Basically allows you to purchase 1 month of gametime, in-game per scroll. But they don't automatically become added to your account, you can choose to sell them to other players at a lower or higher price :3 I'm just dropping this in the off-chance you ever become interested in the game. >.> <.<

There must be enough dating sites that are cheap/free that most people are going to jump ship, surely?

lana, I think the "God Bless America" movie, while verging on parody (only one acceptable solution to social ills in America is to shoot things, impossible to depict reasoned debate!) it also illustrates insularity. Don't get me wrong, I loved Falling Down. But one's biggest problem being vacuous material on television is very much a first world problem and ironically one that isn't rectified by parody nor satire (else Idiocracy and the Onion would have renovated politics).

The thing with most dating sites that are "free" is that the benefits and communication are usually very limited unless you have a "premium" membership. Also, by using a free site you end up with a lot more people that are just messing around, looking for sex, or not all that serious about finding a partner. In terms of dating sites, I really do think you get what you pay for.

My personal pet theory is that we're all just awful at meeting people, either because we're human or because we're on the internet (not sure how wide to cast the net on that one) and that all dating sites accomplish is fixing that problem. In which case all I really want a dating site to do is give me an excuse to break the normal rules about when it's appropriate to ask internet people out on a date.
