We'll find out the truth when we die. I'm not in a rush to, though.

Skree and Sinespe are cool though. And have some pretty good points.
HsR was also cool, but I didn't like to debate with him. Your point?
Ehh, I don't think so to be quite honest. He was a "my way or the highway" type. He didn't get banned for nothing.
I actually remember reading his blog to see his reaction (or was it Aestu's? I don't remember) after getting banned. It was something along the lines of "I got banned from Wowhead. I do not plan on making my return" implying that he could pretty much return if he wanted to. It sounded so arrogant to me. I still can't remember if it was him or Aestu though.

That would be Aestu, because I read that post.
HsR is now actually a mod over at Torhead.
Ehh, I don't think so to be quite honest. He was a "my way or the highway" type.
And so is Skree, and Sinespe (partly). Jubi was also sort of the same. Your point?

I don't think they are.

That's because you agreed with their points.

Not always. And I didn't always disagree with HSR.

Basically, this.
That's because you agreed with their points.
Not always. And I didn't always disagree with HSR.
Given the fact that HsR debated on EVERYTHING, it'd be hard to
>:D

No. That's exactly why I didn't disagree with everything he said. Because we couldn't be polar opposites.

Which is what I meant to say, but failed

inorite? It was all I could do to not spit soda all over my screen.
Granted, he's currently keeping the Randomness forum alive, and he seems to work with the admins there a lot better than he did here.

Myself, while not a YEC (and I believe in evolution), I also believe in the Creation. And apparently ohmygod that makes me crazy.
You kind of have to read past that stuff. If you are going to have a belief about something, anything, there will be people who will mock you. If it isn't a popular opinion, then MANY people will mock you. Every time someone mentions some ridiculous parody of your beliefs (government reading thoughts, Thor summoning thunderstorms, harry potter on a broomstick, etc), you just have to shrug it off, and stick to the meat of the topic. People who mock others, often, don't even realize they are doing it, especially if most of society acts the same way. I always just assume that other people who act like that don't do it intentionally.

I'd like to think that they do it unintentionally, but my observations lead me to say that they do it with full knowledge of what they're doing.
Which is why I don't bother with those debates, anymore. It just devolves into someone insulting me, but that's okay because s/he has the majority behind them.

I guess I've always been in that position, so I'm used to it. I understand that you don't want to join into the debate, and respect it. Sure would be nice not to be the one in the isolation tank all the time, but then again, I'd hate to have the majority in my favor too. I like a challenge.
