I never understand how someone can boil their DPS down to a number like "4.5k." Is that on a dummy? On Patchwerk? On a boss with cleave damage? On a boss with damage modifiers? On a boss with non-damage phases?
I don't care what number you pluck from the air. Do you know how to switch targets to a snobold? To a nether portal? To an infernal volcano? Do you know how to intelligently CC? Do you know how to stand still in a pile, or move around and dodge/catch floating balls? Do you know how to run around with a hunter's mark on your head?
If you answered yes to all of the above, then you are "acceptable" DPS for ToGC. If you answered no, then turn off recount and focus on the important things.

I think I could go for 10 man then, I pull 6k on Gormok on 10. Never tried the heroic version could anyone explain the things a rogue would have to do through Togc?
Things a rogue has to do?
1a) DPS Gormok. If you get a snobold on your head, stand in melee range. If there is a snobold in melee range, switch to it and kill it.
..b) DPS Acidmaw until it is dead, then DPS Dreadscale. Know what to do if you get poison/burning bile.
..c) Don't get hit by the charge.
2) Nether Portals and Infernal Volcanos are actual targets that must be killed. Switch immediately and kill them so you don't spawn extra Mistresses and Infernals.
3) As a rogue you will probably be sitting on a healer stunlocking.
4) Stand in the pit (what we call the pile of DPS in the center of the room, all Dark color) and DPS the correct targets.
5) DPS, Kite, Kill Adds.

And I think on Heroic Anub rogues have to interupt shadow strikes right? Ok most of this stuff I knew, thanks for the info. Gonna go with guild tonight if theres room.No. We tricks them on the way in, but Paladins handle all stuns. Even if you're not single-tanking, there are much better options than rogues kicking. You should be spamming Fan with autoattacks on Anub.
Edit: And you should probably respec. Combat > Mut in Toc.

Paladins with glyphed HoW handle the Shadow Strike. In our runs, rogues handle the ToTT and DPS on the adds, and that's about it.

That's as maybe Porcell, but it doesn't escape the fact that, if you are doing 25-man ToGC and 8 of your DPS are below 5k on Gormok, then you're not going to get him down before the worms arrive.
Assuming both tank do about same dps than 1 dps.
With 17 DPS (7 healer) you need: 4.7k DPS
With 18 DPS (6 healer) you need: 4.4k DPS
With 19 DPS (5 healer) you need: 4.2k DPS
