Yes, they stack.
They do indeed stack. Idk whether Quest was being sarcastic, or just stupid, but they DO stack.
EDIT: Nvm, reread what he said and now he makes sense. Divinity isn't that great of a talent for Prot, but is can sometime be useful.
Ill try and use less words next time.

No, Divinity is never a useful talent for Prot.

No you're right. I suppose taking 5% extra healing when you're low on health is completely and totally not helpful in anyway shape or form.
Spoken like a true DPS. Go talk to a few good paladins and a few of their healers. Divinity = healers talent. 5 points in divinity as prot = bad tank.
Try to make them make sense first. "Any Prot pally wouldn't be cough with divinity." What?
You didnt even manage to quote me correctly. Grats.
Typos are bad, but not being able to piece together the obvious is a whole other level.

If beacon now counts overheal, cant you just beacon the tank, and spam heal yourself? That is 5% healing done to you, and 5% healing done by you. Would that work out to 10% more healing on the tank? And if the tank did have divinity would that end up being 15% healing done on the tank?

Dont think the tank would recieve any extra healing from divinity when being healed through Bacon.
AFAIK it transfers the exact amount that your heal hit for, no more no less.

I simply wrote down what I read it as, I didn't copy/paste or quote - just typed it out the way I processed it in my mind. And if you noticed, after I initially read it and made my comment, I read it again and edited my post to show that I understood what you were saying. Obviously, you didn't comprehend my edit.
EDIT: Typo.
So then, what youre actually saying is that you dont make sense to yourself.
Even better.
=D
You seem to be very very confused.

If you have Divinity and heal yourself, then the heal to the beaconed target is smaller (if the target has no buffs to incoming healing).
If you are the beacon and have Divinity, then the heal you cast on someone else comes back larger (with the "if" again).
I see this almost every day so I suppose that Divinity stacks, but this stacking works only on targets who has the divinity themselves (or some other ways to increase incoming healing).
So the answer to the OP is "yes".

Dude, don't fall to quests level. Just wake away and leave him to his fail.
On a serious note.
Do we have any proof that they stack? Do we have any proof that this Beacon of light idea is in fact false? I would love for someone to link a post or maybe some logs.
Cheers,
Hat

I am 90% sure they do stack, the beacon concept i have yet to test though. I guess i'll give it a burl a bit later on and post my results. If the values are clearly different will SS of combat log + talent build of target being healed suffice for proof?

That would be great proof. I wish you luck with the tests man. Should be an interesting post if you get it done.
Cheers,
