Demonology PvP: Lets make it viable

Each class has 1 viable spec so far. I don't think we should throw representation and balance out of whack, when the classes aren't perfectly balanced with said spec yet.
You're wrong. For example, warlocks have 2 "viable" pvp specs, Deep Affliction and Deep Destruction.

YOU ALREADY HAVE 2 VIABLE SPECS FOR PVP!
Not only that, but both are extremely OP in their own right.
Demo is designed for the under geared to level/run heroics with. That's it.
You have desto and affliction, which are both top tier dps specs, and are also viable for PvP. So..... What's the problem?

Ok, I stopped when you said Destruction is not currently OP...
Warlock- "It's not OP, I have to cast 4 or 5 spells to kill someone! One interupt and poof, they live for another 5 seconds!"

I remember the glory days of my metamorphisis warlock in late BC, only to have people figure out a counter to it. Personally a fix as simple as making all crowd control effects last for half the duration while the warlock is metamorphisised(Spelling...) would help it out a lot. Personally, I'd love if it were permanent rather than on a cooldown, but that is not the case. If it were permanent, it might bring me back from my priest.

Ok, I stopped when you said Destruction is not currently OP...
Utterly moronic mon.
Its BROKEN not OP. Its balanced around a flawed concept, that being solve the problems by adding more damage to them. They have been buffed by adding more damage, when they need less burst, same constant damage (tag a dot on CB like open said maybe) and more survivability/escapes, then they will be balanced.
Anyway, can we get back to the topic? That being, Demonology and PvP
Destruction is OP not matter how you look at it, 8k Conflagrate and 9k CB even that rare to get both together are not funny when you're the target. My main is a Warlock and sure it's OP and not broken, even that it has the cost of low survivability.
Demonology is not going to get any popular if the main source of dmg is Shadowbolt spam and based on 2.1mins CD.
Like I said its like spec 0/0/0 your DotS are weaker than affliction and your Direct Dmg is weaker than destro.
edit: and the nasty amount of weakness when a Paladin is around or another warlock.

Other classes have to set up to get big crits and usually have a dual or triple proc to get that big of a crit(singular).
Destro locks.... cast Immolate>CoE>8k crit. This is not rocket science. I'm sure I could teach a 6 year old to do it.

Not a lock but these are my thoughts. What if meta was a 1.5 minute cooldown(without talents) but halved time and all of the benefits? It would be like a pseudo-beastial wrath, which is quite a tradeoff. Also alf duration of banish and fear effects, Ta Da not OP just decent enough to be worth playing.
didnt they just nerf Beastial Wrath to ten seconds...because it was OP...
