Having played Wow on a medieocre computer, on low settings it was a pleasure to finally upgrade and run everything on its highest settings - what a sight - a whole new game :o)
Can't wait for the Lich King.

When my guild first killed Nefarian. We were just slightly behind the curve at the time, and we were wiping on Nefarian's adds, when Nefarian dropped, the skeletons he'd summoned.. etc. etc. for quite some time before my playlist finally swapped around to the Shadow of the Colossus music.
We downed him on the next attempt, perfect co-ordination, perfect playing from every player, even the ones we'd been carrying up until that point. It was the moment when we went from a 30-ish-and-10-ish-terribles raid to a real, completely co-ordinated raid team, everyone really understanding that we had to shoulder the weight together and bring the boss down.
The best part about the kill was that Ash'kandi dropped, and it went to a ret paladin whose immediate response in Ventrilo was a loud, waning ' WOOOOOOOoooooooooo... ' as he took off running in a victory lap away from the computer.
Good times.

Thinking back, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in WoW.... On my hunter, Pre-BC (when people believed in CC before 60) we were running BRD, and our only CC was me and another hunter... we reached teh bridge immediately following the golem-lord, with a triple then a double pull of the flameguards. the way they used to be set up was 1 far to either side and one in the center, so that in order to have propper LOS, a hunter had to pull one diagonally across the hallway to the opposite side onto a trap. me and the other hunter set up on either side, and simultaneously sent distracting shots across the hall, just as the tank fired on the center target. in unison, they turned towards the three of us, and set in motion the most harmonious pull that I've ever laid eyes on. they charged, the side two forming a fiery X, bisected by the center's bee-line for the tank. for a brief second, all three crossed paths at once, converging into one great molten beast, before continuing on to their demise, two perfectly and synchronously entombed in blocks of ice, the third rent asunder by our blades and bows....While I neglected the Screencap, the image of the great furnace that the bridge spanned, perfectly framed by the narrow hallway and a glorious display of symmetry and contradiction, two fierce and angry beasts absorbed in the cool serenity of this icey embrace... that sight will stay vivid in my memory for years to come.

Favorite WoW moment was definitely the Corrupted Blood Plague/AH Geddon pet Bombs. These came at a time when WoW had become kind of a chore doing the same raids over and over the exact same way. It was really refreshing to see how something seemingly simple could be used outside of its intended use to cause mayhem and such a large scale.
It really opened my eyes to the other aspects of WoW outside of raiding and its nice to know that there is still fun to be had even if I can't devote a whole night to the game.
