My guild and I had just got done doing Karazhan and were looking for something else to do since we had finished about an hour before we planned so we decided to to Arathi Basin together. At the gate, we all got naked and ran out yelling 'Defend the Tool Shed!' and 'Keep an eye on that Horde in the lake, he's up to something fishy'. After dancing on the Tool Shed at Stables with a few Blood Elves that had wandered onto the scene, and Undead Mage decided to attack me (my Warlock). I, to everyones suprise, managed to kill the Mage while completely naked.
While in Gruul's Lair, a large amount of us got clustered together at the Shatter. Fully buffed I was just over 14k health and afterwards I had 300 health remaining. Over vent, Mandraika (Rogue) yells 'I just killed Yuk!'. She always blamed bad situations on herself but it was funny hearing that while fighting a Growth 13 Gruul.
Mandraika also managed to get me lost my first time in Karazhan. Since then, I've learned to keep extra Soul Shards at the ready because, sure enough, she'll get someone else lost and I'll have to summon them.
One time I decided to wander over to the Valley of Trials to scare some of the new guys by going through 'The Hidden Path'. A level 5 Rogue tried to stealth and I let my Imp have his first kill in 50 levels.
While playing AB, a Warrior came up on me at Lumber Mill and I Feared him. He broke it of course, but he was dangerously close to the ledge so that once he did, he fell over the edge to his death.

One of my favourite moments... I have so many, but this is a more recent one...
I was farming some skins in Nagrand as elemental, had about 20% health and 5% mana and just about to med up, a hunter comes up and tries to gank me. Long story short, I ended up with full health and a dead hunter at my feet. Gogo totems and pots. This was before they nerfed elemental shamans, though.

My favorite moment in WoW was getting together a 20-man raid to alliance towns 1 hour before a server maintenance. This very idea started when a friend and I got really bored and decided to try out something different and fun. As we reached 20 people in the raid, we decided that we will meet in Grom'gol. After stopping at grom gol, we headed off to Stormwind city. Riding through the gates of the Alliance capital city was a phenomenal moment. We hid in the Dwarven district, in the deeprun tram to start warlock summons to everyone who couldn't manage to get there. Once all 20 people where at the train station, we rode into Stormwind keep, to kill the king's bodyguard: Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. Our raid was well managed and we pulled the boss without aggroing the rest of the room. The fight was a nice and short one, I gained 83 honor from killing him. (shared between 20 people). Then we moved onto the battlemasters in the room behind the hall of stormwind keep and began slaughtering. In the end, we attacked the bank and auction house rendering the Alliance completely useless: no boss, no battlemaster, no bank and no auctioneer.
I have to say, this 20-man raid group to Stormwind was the best moment in my WoW experience.
Thank you for reading.

This is a big question, so it took me some time to come up with a good answer.
When I reched lvl 60 as a Holy Paladin for the 1st time on pre-expansion (February 2005), I was lucky enough to find my way into an Molten Core guild. After a little while there, I became friends with a small group of people who I still actively play with today.
Fast-Forward to June 2005 (4 Months Later)...I had shifted from an unkown, undergeared, unintelligent recruit to one of the most active officers and best healers in the guild. My "Group-within-the-Guild" and I were
tired
of MC. So...the guild had begun to delve into Blackwing Lair...
However, we soon realized that certain people didn't want to show up to learn Razorgore, they'd rather get their DKP from MC over and over. That's when I also realized that certain players in the guild, who I had looked up to as a recruit, weren't quite as good as I thought (including the GM himself!)
One raid night
, we had scheduled for BWL. Tensions were high, since we were all stoked to get a good attempt in at Razorgore and didn't want anything to go wrong. But sadly, only the familiar faces showed up, and we hardly had 20 people in the raid group (When we could easily get 50 to show up on an MC night).
We all mutually agreed that something needed to be done. We decided to make our own raiding guild, with our own rules and regulations, raid times, recruitment, everything. We prepared to act.
I remember /gquit-ing along with my friends. I thought to myself that this would be the start of something big. The start of my revelation towards higher-gaming, and I was right.
That was my favorite moment in WoW, and every time I think back on those days I can't help but notice the complex unrecorded history that I existed in, and continue exist in today.

I was a level 60 holy priest in a raiding guild back in the day before TBC came out. I was GM of a guild that was in AQ40. and just starting off in Naxx. I have to say that killing C'thun was to this day, after 275 days /played, was my favorite moment in WoW. We went in that night, I had about 45 flasks of titans in my bag to hand out to the raid. We knew we were going to kill him. We did a few warm up pulls, our dps was great, no one was dying from stupid reasons so we flask up the entire raid and got him in our fourth pull. Afterward, I remember sitting in the room in AQ where C'thun used to be with about half the raid and just enjoying that big room being empty for the first night. It was a weekend nite and it was a great place to just sit and hang out until late hours, knowing we beat him, and enjoying that accomplishment, in that empty room in AQ with guildies and friends, was the best moment ever. Not to mention about half the server whispering our guildies grats ;) Good times.

Hmm, I had a lot of good times in WoW in the past +2 years I played. I have mostly played on PvP servers, so my favourite moment was related to PvP.
My first character was a lvl30 Human Warlock (I know, eww Alliance =P) and I was walking to Menthil Harbor to start leveling in Thousand Needles and other places in Kalimdor. I was walking through the tunnel connecting Loch Modan to Wetlands. As I was walking down the dark, declining tunnel, I saw another player walking up, but this player had red letters above his head. Now what's this? It ended up being a lvl33 Undead Lock. This was the first time I had encountered another Horde player and since it said I was in Wetlands (Contested Area), a battle was about to take place. He got the first attack because I was still wondering about what was about to... "go down". He got a few curses on me and we both sent our demons at each other. I banished his pet and we both DoT'd each other. With a fear and a final Shadowbolt I killed him. My Voidwalker was left with barely a scratch. Why that lock didn't own me, I have no idea.
This was my first real PvP experience because I was still getting used to the change from PvE to PvP. Ever since then I have loved killing Alliance/Horde (depending on character, but mostly Alliance now) and it really opened my eyes to the world of PvP in WoW. I left that tunnel feeling proud and full of self-esteem, ready to take on any person who would stand in my way (unless they are three or more levels higher than me, then I would just run in the opposite direction xD). That was my favourite moment I ever had in the World...(of Warcraft).

My favorite moment in my 3 years of playing WoW was when my guild downed Illidan a few weeks ago. This was my first time being present at a first kill of an end boss, but that's not the reason this is my favorite moment.
When we were 8/9 BT our old gm kinda went crazy, cleared out the guild bank, took down our website and vent server and joined another guild on our server with a few of our officers.
We recruited and regrouped for 4 months, cleared out SSC and TK, like back before they removed attunements, and downed Illidan after 2 weeks in BT.
We worked so hard to recover and it was the most amazing feeling when Illidan died.
