Number of bad words in this movie: 6
This is not for the elite of the elite.
This is for the average feral dps player who wants to improve and learn how to continue improving long after she's forgotten about this video.
English is my third language, doing voiceovers was a pain. My accent apparently offends some people.
This movie is packed with info. WORKING AS INTENDED - or the movie would be 30min long.
Soundtrack (can't really hear it anyway):
tAKIDA x2
Jonathan Coulton
Bruce Springsteen w/ Mike Ness
Rancid x2

I recommended a feral blog (Flyv) that went non-WoW. Go Fluid Druid instead.
http://thefluiddruid.wordpress.com/
Berserk macro should be a two-step macro, one that alerts the DK, and one that you can pop for Berserk AFTER you get the buff. Imp Mangle is recommended by Murna (EJ - Cat DPS for Dummies), Nightcrowler (Feral By Night) and Astrylian (Rawr). Your situation on your hard mode progression fight might be different, but for me there's way too much attacking adds etc from the front not to take it. I spec for progression fights, which means things go wrong and the Arms Warrior sometimes dies or is attacking something else. Feel free to make your own guide video telling everyone how wrong I am. And Murna. And Nightcrowler. And Astrylian.
Some people have asked for the script, it's posted here:

Seeing as how you only need to mangle every 18 seconds or so to keep it up, why do you say beginning druids MUST take improved mangle? 6 more energy every 18 seconds equals one third extra energy gen per second, is that really worth 3 talent points? That could be spent in, for example, nurturing instinct, which is very helpful in AoE raid damage fights?
No, no kitties should be taking improved mangle, and it's even debatable for tanks. Please don't be misleading :)
You have to mangle once every 12 seconds.
Mangle is useful on anub scarabs, on any mob where you can't be behind it for some portion of time. This includes Yogg, Anub Scarabs, faction champions, Kologarn, etc. Nurturing instincts shouldn't be necessary. Improved mangle is a dps talent that is very worth it.

I would've watched your movie if it wasn't for your very hostile introduction.
It's a virtue to be able to learn from critique and to ignore the trolling/spam/hate.

I can see the objection with saying "Improved Mangle is absolutely necessary in any kitty build" -- but you really can't argue that in a pure DPS build, it's superior to any other choice at
improving
DPS... even if you only push it once every 12 or 18 seconds. The only way this is false is if you have a mangle-bot that is so dependable, Mangle isn't even on your bar (anyone got this?).
@Solved: Was your comment about "80% of feral druids..." about pvp? I don't use Glyph of Mangle, and I don't think anyone does in PvE... Rip, Shred, Savage Roar are the best 3, I thought.
Anyways, I guess I see as much of a problem with saying "Improved Mangle is absolutely necessary" as I do with "Improved Mangle is absolutely foolish."

For Yogg: The only things you're attacking are the Crushers and the brain as a melee(and the adds of course)....all of which can be stood behind.
You can't rely 100% on being behind the guardians in p1, due to clouds, and some bit of movement. Corruptors you can definitely get behind. Brain, you can get behind easily. The brain room tentacles, mangle is useful. For p3, sometimes the immortals are faced towards you, assuming you're facing away and not turning, otherwise shred. If you go on Yogg, going behind him risks proximity aggro from a immortal before healing aggro picks them up, assuming you're tanking guardians in the front of the room.
Faction champs: The only reason you should mangle, is when you're in bear form and being focused by a tough melee (Warrior, enhance Shammy, Ret pally etc.)
Admittedly, not a very excusable fight for it. Just not a 100% fight for being in back sometimes, because of the direction switching. Should be able to shred a lot there though.
Anub 'arak scarabs: If you're being focused, you're running away to prevent stacks of their debuff...otherwise it's shred, shred, shred for heroic mode. In normal mode they die so quickly it doesn't matter what you do.
Scarabs aren't going to get a mangle debuff and a bleed up on them fast enough for you to shred, even in heroic.
If you're the mangle bot, Imp. Mangle beats FA by a lot. If you're sometimes the mangle bot, I'd still go Imp. Mangle over FA. If you're never the mangle bot, drop Imp. Mangle. Nurturing Instinct should not be necessary, cats are some of the least healing intensive melee at the moment with barkskins and Predatory Instincts.

Berserk macro should be a two-step macro, one that alerts the DK, and one that you can pop for Berserk AFTER you get the buff. My bad.
Imp Mangle is recommended by Murna (EJ - Cat DPS for Dummies), Nightcrowler (Feral By Night) and Astrylian (Rawr). Your situation on your hard mode progression fight might be different, but for me there's way too much movement, dynamic positioning fights, attacking low-health adds while running - or running through to the backside of the boss etc not to take it. I spec for progression fights, which means things go wrong and the Arms Warrior sometimes dies or is attacking something else.
Feel free to make your own guide video telling everyone how wrong I am. And Murna. And Nightcrowler. And Astrylian.
If Nurturing Instinct makes a huge difference on any hard mode/heroic fight in the game, I'd love to see a WWS/WMO/WOL report where you can show that it did.
Again, this video is not for the elite of the elite. It's BASICS.

Pansies.
You're all wrong.
The Mangle Glyph has absolutely nothing to do in an endgame-raider's choice for talents, but it could be useful for a fresh level 80, with low amounts of crit.
The Mangle Talent is absolutely necessary in order to do proper DPS, unless you have 100% Mangle-bot presence. I doubt this.
How would dropping the Mangle-talent from my
spec
improve my DPS? More Swipe damage? Infected wounds?
And as a raider, how on earth can you even consider 6 extra seconds on Mangle, when you could have 4 seconds of Rip (two ticks), 6 extra seconds through shred (three ticks) and 3% extra damage-increase?
Stop trying to re-invent the wheel, and settle in the fact that we already know the best combinations. :)

Took the time to review it. I'm not fully up to date on Feral but I can say that trying to keep up with that video made me feel that same way I did when I was first learning the rotation (mid raid cause I'm a flipping idiot like that). It's almost as if you made it that way just to give a prospective feral a taste of things to come :P
All in all a good video.

Cheers, comments are appreciated. Yes, in hindsight it probably went a bit too fast, but given the constraints with Youtube's 10-min limit and the amount of information and wanting to make ONE video as opposed to a series ...no. People are just going to have to watch it again or stop and pause or make their own guide video.
Oh well. No matter how I'd done it people would've complained. At least I did something. 120,000 views now, and mostly positive feedback.
