I find this on mmo champion, this is a conversion between Lich King, Tirion, Saurfang. This is a small spoiler
Highlord Tirion Fordring
yells: Our march upon Icecrown Citadel begins now!
Highlord Tirion Fordring
yells: ARTHAS! I swore that I would see you dead and the scourge dismantled! I'm going to finish what I started at Light's Hope!
The Lich King
yells: You could have been my greatest champion, Fordring: A force of darkness that would wash over this world and deliver it into a new age of strife.
The Lich King
yells: But that honor is no longer yours.Soon, i will have a new champion.
The Lich King
yells: The breaking of this one has been taxing. The atrocities I have committed upon his soul. He has resisted for so long, but he will bow down before his king soon.
Highlord Bolvar Fordragon
yells:
NEVER
! I.......I will never..... serve.... you......
The Lich King
yells: In the end, you will all serve me.
High Overlord Saurfang
says: The paladin still lives? Is it possible, Highlord? Could he have survived?
Highlord Tirion Fordring
says: The power of the light knows no bounds, Saurfang. His soul is under great strain, but he lives-for now.
High Overlord Saurfang
says: Then we must save him! If we rescue Bolvar Fordragon, we may quell the unrest between the Alliance and the Horde.
High Overlord Saurfang
says: Our mission is now clear: The Lich King will answer for his crimes and we will save Bolvar Fordragon!
High Overlord Saurfang
yells: Kor'kron, prepare Orgrim's Hammer for it's final voyage! Champions. our gunship will find a point to dock on the upper reaches of the citadel. Meet us there!
I dont know about you but that tells me that Bolvar is gonna be one of the main bosses of Icecrown

I don't think so, maybe instead they may put in a new event to save Bolvar. I hope so, he was perhaps one of the best figures in the Alliance.
Edit: I mean it, Bolvar is perhaps one of the greater heroes in the Alliance. I'm a Varian supporter for the most part, but if I chose sides between the two, Bolvar would get my vote instantly without a second thought.

maybe Saurfang dies to save him? hope not
One of the major horde guys dies to save a alliance, seems like something that would quell tensions between the horde and alliance

Well, they DID kill off (or made it look like they did) Bolvar, one of the more respected heroes that was alive back WoW started.
I wouldn't be surprised if Saurfang finally met his match, but I don't think Blizzard would go that far since Saurfang is one of the most beloved characters in the eyes of the Horde.

If Saurfang goes down, that will prob be it; dying to save Bolvar and killing his death knight son.

erm, 2 posts talking about the same topic? humm odd.
anywho, one of the encounters in icecrown is described as "the strongest Death knight in service of the lich king", now why that name rather than the name of the actual boss? maybe is faction based, alliance fight saurfang junior, (poor sobs U.U) and horde fights bolvar (I don't wanna kill him either :S) or maybe each fight their own hero (alliance vs bolvar, and horde vs saurfang).
either way it sounds like something the lich king would do, put us against our own heroes to demoralize us.
what would demoralize us horde solderiers more than having to fight saurfang?, what would break a father's heart more than seeing his son turned into a mockery of his former pridefull warrior self?.
and for the alliance, what would break a man's faith more than seeing one of the greatest champions of the light broken like this? what better way to really demoralize them than having their greatest hero be the instrument of their undoing?.
it seems to me that this is gonna be a rather sad encounter one we will have to do for loot but will be left with a bitter taste on our mouths after it's done.

We could also fight them both together. But, if Bolvar is his most powerful Death Knight, I doubt there was ever hope for Saurfang Junior.

And - as has been pointed out before - that would make it so that he could't kill Garrosh for screwing up the Horde in Cata.
Despite the fact that Saurfang is a god in WoW, I think this is it for him.

Lets be honest, well Bolvar is a great character who shone in wotlk (I played my alliance toon and saw the quest chain with him) his heroism really only came to the front in wotlk.
I remember before wotlk, people regardled Bolvar as an adsent character, a lot of alliance players not liking him much cause he didn't have much of a kingly standing (I'm not fabricating this, this is what was said a lot) and they didn't really give a dam about him when he was replaced by Varian.
Saurfang on the other hand, has shone far more in his leading the horde against AQ, and even giving that example to the alliance that day. He showed he was not just a powerful warrior, but a great diplomat, and smart enough to face Garrosh face to face, telling him he'll kill him should he make the horde into a dark horde again.
As much as people though Bolvar was great.. he just didn't have the standing Saurfang does.
In any event nobody can predict whats going to happen (unless mmo-champ leaks rumors).
And also one other point, if Saurfang dies in icecrown, there have to remove him from warsong hold too, and thus remove a cool quest chain.

not really dude, that's what phasing is there for, remember that saurfang junior died on the wrathgate, and still u can do his quests in nagrand, and on the kor'kron vanguard.
if (and I hope he doesn't) saurfang dies on icecrown, it wont affect his apereance in neither borean tundra nor in the battle for the undercity, since those event take place before icecrown and he can be phased in. (of course, after you complete icecrown it would be odd to see the aledgely dead saurfang again alive in borean tundra.........)

Bolvar is the next Lich King, who is turned at the final moment and snatches up the Helm of Ner'zhul after it rolls to the floor and makes off.
Or I hope so...

We know with 95% certainty that Sourfang the Younger is a boss. He is known as
Deathbringer Saurfang
(or only "The Deathbringer") and is the fourth boss in Icecrown Citadel, right after the Gunship event. I have a couple of speculations about this fight. Or more.
Saving Bolvar is a timed event tied to the Deathbringer encounter.
Saving Bolvar is not related to the Deathbringer encounter (it may or may not be related to any other encounter).
Saving Bolvar is an option - you choose to save him or not, possibly for extra loot or difficulty.
Bolvar is just the Alliance/Horde version of "the Deathbringer".

I'm thinking this.

My only concern with this idea is that we already know Saurfang the Younger has been turned. And in the beginning of ICC we see that Bolvar is still holding - although barely. Although it is possible for the Lich King to break Bolvar in the little time we spend inside the Citadel, I feel it unlikely. Thoughts about Bolvar saving us/Saurfang are starting to sneak in my mind... Maybe a sacrifice too?
