I dont think a Hunter has the least buttons, but it aint many any since its ranged you have to move less.
You'll be (on average, in pvp battlegrounds and arena) using these skills:
-Explosive shot
-Aimed shot
-Feign death
-disengage
-deterrence
-Stings/traps (aspect changing sometimes)
-pvp trink (..any class)
-cooldowns (..any class)
Ill probably be forgetting some but can't log on wow atm..

I looked at this problem from a different angle. Don't know how limited said person's hand dexterity is, and since I haven't played every class fully in pvp I don't know if there really are any of those "facerolling/1111111121111131111-classes."
Anyhow, I use
Belkin n52te
. It's an "addon" to keyboard, if you will.
Thumpad allows 8 keybindings (Though I've found 4 are enough for a rtard player like me so I don't get them mixed.) and like in normal keyboard 6 keybindings are really close and easy to access. (+Other keybindings available too.) Not to mention that hand rests upon this little keyboard in a much more natural way for gaming than in normal keyboard. (edit: My point of view, forgot to mention.)
Logitech has a similar product but I was too lazy to find the webpage.

I'm old'ish (40 yr) and my dexterity isn't what it used to be, my personal recommendation would be an affliction warlock.
Rule out melee chars, you need to get close to people and they jump all over the place, forcing you to constantly adjust. I suck at playing melee chars in pvp, the stupid enemy simply won't stand still long enough for me to hit anything..
The great thing about an affliction warlock is that you don't need to be close to the enemy or even face the enemy, you can dot people even when they are behind you and you can dot people while running. Affliction warlock is the closest thing you get to not having to aim at all, which is pretty great when your eye-hand coordination is a bit out of wack. One key to add those dots. One panic key to do the voidwalker sacrifice shield and howl of terror and he should be able to perform on a reasonable level. Just follow your fellow pvp'ers, stay a bit in the back ground, dot the allys and when you hear that rogue stealth sound you hit the panic button twice, getting a shield and a fear...
A shadowpriest could work too for about the same reasons.
Forgot to add, when I say "One key to add those dots" I'm talking about having set up a macro with /castsequence to apply a couple of dots.
I'll have to agree with Strandvaskeren here...

I actually play a
healer
(Holy Priest) as my main in part for some of the reasons listed above as reasons to play a ranged toon - 'course, I also really like healing.
I have an issue that prohibits me from making effective use of a mouse in time-sensitive applications, though I'm generally okay on a keyboard. I do occasionally make typos due to my disorder, and I have become accustomed to healing with either or both hands, due to one or the other often being occupied...but I've never been accused of being a Fail Healer by anyone I've healed (except one Lock who claimed he got "zero heals" when I was busting my ass healing his stupid, wouldn't move
all the way onto Heigan's Platform
ass, so I guess I'm doing alright. Yes, I am a Key-Turner...and
yes
, it's a superior option for me to flailing around with the mouse.
As I am a Key-Turner, I've found I'm most effective healing. I don't have to face my targets. Moving out of fire/poison/to the tank/whatever isn't a huge deal, I can handle that easily, same with almost anything necessary for soloing, mobs aren't smart...but having to move around for PvP and the like
is
.
Though, if I've got something moving around while I'm in Shadow spec? MindFlay turns me, sometimes faster than I could do by keyturning. It hurts dps less for a key-turner to hit an unecessary Mind Flay to turn than to spend time manually turning and not casting anything at all. The DoTs are also helpful.
And the auto-run key is awesome.
In case anyone's curious, Tourette's syndrome. I can't use the mouse because if my wrist is twisting to the side or otherwise writhing, it affects mousing, but on a keyboard I can adjust where my <i>arm</i> is to ensure my fingers are still hitting keys. And if one hand is busy flailing away, I can use the other hand to key. I also tend to damage mice since unless I let go of the mouse when the ticcing starts, I tend to end up slamming it into desks a fair bit. Sometimes I drop or unintentionally toss them off the desk. Why yes, I do mouse with a touchpad now. And no, I can't use it to move, though it IS how I mouse-target when necessary.
My guild is good about letting me tell them "Ticcing, don't pull" and giving me a few minutes to let my body do what it wants to do. Hee hee, the worst thing is actually head and eye tics, because at that point I'm having to steal glances at the screen when I can and am essentially healing blind. But I've only had that happen in a way that really interfered twice in 8 months of playing, so...in that sense it's not any worse than anyone else with random IRL distractions.
-----------------------
Anyway, if he wants to DPS, have him try Spriest or Afflic Lock. Both make heavy use of DoTs. A Lock has a pet which may prove helpful, and Spriest has an easy turn-mechanism. Lean toward Lock for PvP.

A friend of mine had his spinal cord partially severed (at the base of the neck) in an accident.
That resulted in him having no use of his lower body, and almost no use of his fingers. He can only close his hands into "fists", move them to a general direction, and lower them on a key/mouse button.
He's been playing a mage for 3 years, he's in one of the top raiding guilds in our server, and he beats the %^&* out of me in PvP (I'm a mage too).
This is meant to give you a general idea about what hand dexterity is really worth.
Skill comes with time and practice, so if he starts any class and quits shortly after because he's getting his arse handed to him in BG's or he's virtually destroyed in an arena match, you should make him aware of that fact.
All in all, I wish him best luck with any class that he choses.
I agree 100%
Gear is very important as well, and so there is no shame in getting killed a lot in the beginning.
Practice is key.
- Now good luck, and I hope I meet you on the wow side ;)

Low-button usage priest PvP:
Firstly, spec like this.
http://www.wowhead.com/?profile=15553603#talents
Your glyphs will be: Penance, Pain Suppression, Power Word: Shield.
Your gear will have a) heaps and heaps and HEAPS of spirit
b) as much crit as you can get (this is important so that you are constantly proccing Divine Aegis - you can't have Power Word: Shield on all the time)
c) some more spirit. This is gonna be a simple fight, but a long fight.
Macros:
1- Devouring Plague - Shadow Word: Pain - Renew
2 - Psychic Scream - Devouring Plague - Shadow Word: Pain - Power Word: Shield
Other Spells:
Penance
Flash Heal
Holy Nova
Mind Blast
Holy Fire
Smite
Desperate Prayer (bound)
Pain Suppression (bound)
Power Word: Shield (bound)
It is rare that you use Greater Heal in PvP. It's a slow cast and mana-expensive.
Okay, now this is important! Get Bartender! Standard WoW action bars are useless. With Bartender it is possible to be a clicker and still be effective at PvP. Put all your damaging spells in a nice little section, 2 rows of 3 or make a square or whatever is going to be both hasty and comfortable.
Priests have 4 get-out-of-jail spells - Psychic Scream, PW: S, Desperate Prayer, and glyphed Pain Suppression. So you only really need 4 hotkeys.
Apart from that, it is important to be able to self-target, cast Penance for a quick 15k heal, then re-target your enemy quickly. You might find this more comfortable with the mouse or with <F1> and <Tab>
Macro #1 is your fight opener. And you re-use it whenever the DoTs wear off. Macro #2 is one of your get-out-of-jail-free cards, and is an easy way to turn the tables against a melee class.

The Feared Retribution Paladin
Judgements every 8 seconds(Light and Justice, I've never used Wisdom in PvP)
Crusader Strike every 4 seconds
Divine Storm every 10 seconds
Exorcism (15 second CD) or Flash of Light (Art of War Proc)
Cleanse
Divine Shield
Hand of Protection (For Partner)
Sacred Shield every 30 seconds unless your specced into Divine Guardian
Hand of Freedom (Self or partner, up every 25 seconds)
Hand of Salvation (if glyphed)
Hand of Sacrifice (Help save a friend)
Hammer of Justice (1 min to 30 sec CD based on Spec)
Repentence (Every 1 Min)
Avenging Wrath (Every 2 min if specced)
Hammer of Wrath (Enemy below 20% life)
Consecration (every 10 seconds)
Divine Plea (Every 1 Minute)
I excluded Seals because they are only applied once.
Yeah man, seventeen buttons is really the ultimate faceroll. /sarcasm
I think Moonkip said it best.
People need to stop spouting their igonorance of the Paladin being a faceroll class. It's WoW's most widely accepted lie.
Paladins are overall easy to play, but hard to master.
