The old argument goes on ...
Whats better as Dps ? Is it balance or feral ?
(as in 10/25man raids )
-players confused me , some of them say Balance is way better ,some of them say Feral ftw! and the other part says idc .. i am a Tree !
If you choose balance .. why ?
if you choose feral .. why ?
what would your talent build be like ? and what enchants and gems would u socket in your gear whether you were either feral or balance?
PS
:at the beginning i went balance and i still balance , because balance shared most of my gear with my main healing spec when i first hit 80 >.> ,but since the release of the patch 3.3.0 : Fall of the Lich King collecting gear became easier than ever so im ready to switch feral if it has higher dps than balance
Thanks for your time reading this :D

Personally, if I'm dual cat/moonkin (which I do sometimes), I will take into consideration the makeup of the raid and the fight's playstyle. I go for whichever would both benefit the raid and maximize my survivial/damage output. Your personal DPS probably wouldn't be as high (compariatevly to what you normally do or what spot you end up on the charts), but from what I've expierenced; if you provide a valuable boost to the raid while doing your job and/or make the fights easier on healers, it turns out to be a more enjoyable expierence.
I don't know if it answered your question... but I'm not the most helpful and tend to take the utility of the Druid class to it's fullest.

It's really a matter of personal preference. Right now feral dps will be a bit higher then moonkin dps but moonkins are getting a nice buff in 3.3.
In the end it comes down to needed group buffs and mostly your personal preference. What do you like better?
I hate how the moonkin form looks and that's why I'm specced feral/resto. But that's me, you might like fat chickens and dislike cats and then you should go moonkin.

Do spell casters count as "Ranged" to the game mechanic and thus, receive the benefit of LotP or is it only referring to Hunters?
Only physical damage, so no it does not affect casters. I wish Blizzard would fix that tooltip.
